As as bench guy only, not a starter I'm cool with Biggio. He brings a high floor, versatility on D, speed and a decent baseball IQ. Not sure what else people want in a bench guy. As a starter... hell no. Yes, he makes too much money for the bench role, I get that and he'd probably be someone they'd non-tender after 2024 and try to re-sign at a lower number or lose him.
I like tools and versatility on the bench to fill very specific needs at a given time rather than trying to shoe-horn a 1b/DH in at 2nd because he might hit a few points higher in batting average.
