  1. Jed Lowrie walking up to Rush. Great songs all around in this lineup.
  2. Haha Reddick's walk up song is Careless Whisper.
  3. Do you think he can't do it?
  4. I don't care what he wants and neither does Shapiro.
  5. I think it makes a lot of sense for next year if we don't resign Dickey. We'll be very short on SP depth and there are a ton of good relievers scheduled to be free agents.
  6. It was touch and go for a while, but some good scotch helped me through the dark times.
  7. This isn't really a suggestion or a criticism, but it's what I like to see. I think threads like 'Should we extend Dickey and 'Who should we trade for at the deadline ' generate fantastic discussion. When a great topic like that is brought up in a big thread, sometimes it gets buried quickly. I'd like board members to feel more free to make threads like that, while also understanding that there has to be a limit.
  8. Not even 10 probably.
  9. Point number 2 is certainly a valid one.
  10. Talk about a bunch of sheep, holy s***. It's as if there's no chance that Berrios will be a better pitcher because a bitter old Jays scout says so.
  11. He's not a red Sox prospect, but it wouldn't matter either way. The fact that I'd have him 5-10 spots lower than Law and BA is hardly outrageous. He's got a ton of development time left and also a lot of risk. If given the choice, I'd take comparably ranked position players like Arcia and Frazier or a more advanced arm with the same upside like Berrios.
  12. I wouldn't have him there, but some publications do.
  13. Under the radar? It's the best available pitcher (if you believe the Braves GM) for a top 50 prospect.
  14. I'll call BS until I see it on an accurate gun.
  15. I always got a laugh out of that one, considering we live much longer, have better overall health, and are more innovative in research (for our size).
  16. Pretty underwhelming deal for the Padres. I suspect they could have gotten multiple quality prospects had they waited.
  17. Rich Hill has been scratched from tomorrow's start. We will instead face Daniel Mengden. Nice break.
  18. I'm pretty sure guys like Jose offered to defer their salary for that year to make room for Santana.
  19. Playoff teams need more than 5 major league calibre starters, period. You shouldn't be fooled by our good luck in the health department this year. If you don't draft your own depth you end up with Scott Copeland in the rotation.
