    It's hard for me to be too hard on Jose because he's almost always right and he knows it. Competent umpires would solve that problem.

    I don't think it was reported how the money would be distributed. It doesn't seem like we were up against a cap this year though so I bet they took some in 2016.

    Tanaka has only gone 11 innings with 5:8 BB:K against us this year so we've run up his count well and gotten chances. It's just a matter of getting a big hit or two.

    There's nothing to dislike about the Navarro move. Being familiar with the staff is a huge plus He's also a better hitter than Kratz or Jimenez and loved in the clubhouse. So what if he went 1-3 with a walk? That's fine, probably better than Smoak.

    I don't have a problem with Navy getting at-bats over Smoak and Upton after looking really good yesterday, but cleanup is just inexplicable.

    Absolutely I do. Pitching as bad as Boston's will be exposed. We see it every year and people keep forgetting but it happens more often than not.

    It's almost as if the more poorly hit balls, the more hits the other team gets. They haven't hit anything at all hard yet.

    I get the motivation.for trading him, but one of the saddest things about modern baseball is the lack of loyalty. If this was 30 years ago even, Braun would be a lifetime Brewer, no question. Now a team goes through a rough patch and he's dead weight with fans clamoring to trade him. It's nobody's fault really, just disappointing.

    There's Jose Adolis Garcia and Lourdes Gourriel that I know of, but I'm not sure if we could count on either to have an immediate impact.
