  1. RIP Tony. It was truly a pleasure to watch you play with thr Blue Jays.
  2. I can't. I like the changes as well.
  3. This could reveal more details of the trash can scheme to the public and hurt the Astros even more so I'm all for it.
  4. That isn't the statement that he took issue with. It's your statement that Downs is worth more than Verdugo.
  5. Of course we do. Does it make sense to add another corner outfielder on a 1 year deal?
  6. Gotta feel for Graterol, who is being used as a pawn so Boston can back out of a trade that they already agreed to. It seems that multiple other teams have no issue with his health.
  7. This is his second stint with the Blue Jays. We took him in the Rule 5 draft a few years ago.
  8. That would seem to support the idea that he was wearing a buzzer instead.
  9. They'll surely announce a bunch of them all at once in the next week or two like they always do.
  10. We seem to consistently get one of the top 5 or 10 IFA talents every year. Credit to our staff in Central America.
  11. So he was present in a room where another drunk guy touched a drunk girl's vagina. Oh the horror! Put him in jail right away.
  12. The Dodgers are the team that will have their fanbase mutiny if this doesn't go down. I don't think there is a lot of pressure on the Twins to get this done.
  13. Or virtually any other domestic American beer. Miller and Sam Adams are particularly terrible. Molson Export is a good tasting Ale for a reasonable price. I enjoy having one from time to time.
  14. It hasn't been brought up, but to me it seems pretty clear that Mookie Betts did not want to be in Boston. He said he was hitting free agency before, during, and after they offered him a contract.
  15. Houston's new cap looks pretty slick.
  16. They are a lot like last year's Jays team with a little more star power. They don't really have a viable starter after Sale and Rodriguez, nor do they have a farm system to speak of. The offense is studs and duds, with poor options at several positions, flanked by some stars.
  17. Nice deal for the Dodgers. They probably upgrade the rotation a touch with Price, while perhaps not adding a ton of salary depending on the money from Boston. Verdugo for Betts is a significant win for them. I would have expected a far larger return for Betts, but there was obviously some desperation to move Betts and some other salary to get under the tax threshold. Aroldis Chapman and Andrew Miller got similar or better returns for partial seasons.
  18. He's certainly an exciting guy to watch. Players like Bogaerts and Wander Franco did similar things in that league at the same age, so you always hope he busts out like they did, as unlikely as that is.
  19. The eye test backs that up. He's always appeared to be a superlative defender.
  20. I like the aggressive ranking on Martinez. They either think he sticks at shortstop or really love his bat.
  21. The lack of talent at CF and in the bullpen really stands out. Other than that, it looks like a really solid squad.
  22. If I cover up the feet and look long enough then I can see him batting right handed. The feet make me say left handed.
  23. Get well Tony!
