  1. Well obviously. I expect that they will trade him, but they may release him if they are not able to find a dance partner.
  2. They don't need any cause if they want to release him.
  3. Who needs defense? A third baseman that can't play third and two outfielders that can't play the outfield sounds like a recipe for success.
  4. He doesn't have to be ok with it if they release him.
  5. The fact that they are still projected to be below .500 with Ray and Winker really goes to show how lucky they were in 2021.
  6. Just close the thread, Deadpool. I tried my best. I should have known it would turn into this.
  7. Let him go to Seattle. They're a true talent .500 team that got very, very lucky last year in my opinion.
  8. Tyler Naquin is our man. Make it happen, Atkins.
  9. Give me Conforto on a 1/18 contract all day, every day. I think you plug him in as a regular DH and roll with an embarrassment of riches.
  10. It's a valid talking point, but I would like this thread to discuss the on the field implications of the vaccine policies rather than the validity of the policies themselves.
  11. To be clear, I'm not saying that this opinion was well supported or something that I agreed with. That being said, some people on this forum, in the media, and elsewhere believed that Biggio was the best of the three. This isn't something that I'm fabricating.
  12. There's absolutely no way that both didn't play a role in his season. He was wincing in pain on throws to first base early in the season and never got back to his normal self. Just one year ago, many were saying he was the best of the legacy trio.
  13. 0.02% for the Orioles to even make the playoffs. That's rough.
  14. I think that opportunity was gone when we got Chapman, but perhaps you are right.
  15. Boys and Norris sign at almost the same time. That's quite a coincidence.
  16. If true, it was almost certainly Boston or SD.
  17. Jamie Campbell has leukemia. I hope he has a quick recovery. They guy is a true blue Jays fan and actually pretty good in his role.
  18. Joc Pederson goes for 1/6 to the Giants in actual real news broken by our friend JP Morosi. I would have loved him on our bench for that price.
  19. I like to memorize all factoids related to Stuffy McInnis in case it comes up in a conversation.
  20. The 1912-14 Philadelphia Athletics infield of Stuffy McInnis, Eddie Collins, Jack Barry, and Home Run Baker amassed 79.3 WAR over that span, which is roughly 7 WAR per player, per season.
  21. Should we look to the trade market for a left handed bench bat? Tyler Naquin seems like an interesting and cheap option. Dominic Smith is also being shopped by the Mets and could be a good fit.
  22. Someone hasn't noticed how bad Eugenio Suarez has been for the past 2 seasons.
