It's a baseball forum where people voice their opinions. We're altering the fundamental rules of the game for no discernable benefit and the vast majority of paying customers do not support it. That's been shoen jn numerous polls. The fact that you have no care or respect for the game doesn't make yours the only valid opinion.
Switching to 3 balls and two strikes for a walk and a strikeout, respectively, would be good for players and broadcasters as well. They could all be paid the same to do less work, which is the stated goal of this change. You're making a truly asinine argument with no basis in fact.
Do I like strategy in games? Yes. Do I like watching managers have to manage their bullpens? Yes. Do I like seeing position players pitch in extreme circumstances? Yes, it's actually exciting. The Chris Davis game is one of the best I have watched. Every avid baseball fan on this forum remembers it. That's hardly exclusive to extra innings even if you don't like it.
I'm not against change in baseball like some are suggesting, but you can only go so far before it's not baseball any more. The need to get on base to score a run is perhaps the must fundamental aspect of the entire game and we are throwing that rule in the trash, enraging almost all fans.
