    Perhaps those guys were the game 1 arms, with Mayza, Richards, and Phelps as the game 2 arms? They surely don't want to go back to back with most high leverage guys except maybe Cimber.

    Two fielding 'errors' cost us at least 2 runs. I would have hoped for better preparation coming out of ST.

    Berrios' fastball velocity and command look alright, but the curveball is not fooling anyone tonight.

    Oh please. Ryu has been our best pitcher over the past 2 seasons. Gausman received Cy Young votes and a 9 figure contract. Berrios has been one of the top pitchers in baseball over the last 5 years. Manoah is right where he belongs at 4 and he will hopefully prove that he deserves more going forward.

    Chris Woodward confirmed that the entire Rangers roster is vaccinated. I expect that a lot of teams will be in the same boat.

    Certainly not. Beeston was a great president in his era, but it was time for him to step aside. I think the go ahead for this facility played a large role in enticing Shapiro to come to Canada.

    It's hard to envision a scenario in which Castro provides more value to the 2022 Blue Jays than Zimmer will.

    I really like it. We desperately needed some depth in CF between Springer and Palacios. I suppose he takes Katoh's or Collins' spot on the roster for now, but Zimmer projects the same as Tapia at the plate with much better defense, so the latter's roster spot may be at risk at some point.

    I see each of the teams I mentioned in the top 10 contenders on one website. We're probably in better shape than the Mets as well. I want the bullpen to be better too, but there is still time for upgrades and we are far from the worst contender in terms of bullpen quality.

    Not everyone wants to live in Los Angeles and not everyone cares how much money they make after a certain point. Maybe he has kids in school in Cleveland and wants them to have a normal life without moving all over the place. Maybe he has a home in a great neighbourhood next to his best friends and his parents. I find it so ridiculous when people trash a city and probably haven't even spent any time there.
