Love the way Kawa plays, and the way he goes about his business. It's not his fault AA failed to find a viable 2B last offseason.

We might as well just trade our AS starting pitcher Marky B, and former batting champ Jose Reyes. Literally, all of that money could be put to much better use.

Better arm, gets to the ball quicker (not that it matters, Rasmus was camped), more accurate. I'll put my money on Gose.

I hope that one day, The Toronto Blue Jays organization will employ an offense who doesn't live and die by the long ball.

Take the homer hat off for once man. I get you are more positive than most on this board, but its an absolute extreme. These are grown men, being paid millions of dollars to play baseball. They don't need your back up on a Blue Jays message board every time they f*** up.

I really hope we get to see the days of Stroman/Norris/Hutch/Sanchez/Nolin, and AA doesn't go all in (again) this year.

Gump is one of my favorite players, but that was the f***ing most embarrassing attempt to throw a runner out I've ever witnessed. He either doesn't give a s*** or was just too lazy.

Fair response, and I do agree with your thinking. To me, this is the absolute last spot I wanted to see the Jays in this year. Teetering on a playoff chance, in the midst of injuries. Gives the FO the illusion of a playoff team, when in reality we need a few roster adjustments. I would've been all for trading everyone not named Lawrie/Hutch/Stroman had this year fallen apart. As it stands, I certainly don't hate the idea of acquiring Headley on the cheap, as he should provide more value than any of our AAAA players.

Just curious as to who you would give up, then? Last night you're throwing out ridiculously lop sided Jays trades for Bautista, now you want to trade prospects for teams in the midst of a WC race.
  10. L54
I really doubt he trades Sanchez for Headley. I wouldn't worry about that.
  11. L54
I'd really be interested to see what kind of packages teams would offer for either Bautista or EE. Can someone give some sort of estimate of what the Jays would be looking at?
  12. L54
Probably everybody. Thing is, only the Mets would be smart to say no.

So what if he has a different opinion than yours? No need to be so butt hurt. Everyone knows your opinion, doesn't mean they have to agree with it.

Can anyone tell me what happened to Edwin. Not watch the game just heard about it.

    This made me laugh

Just got home and turned on the game, heard Buck talking about "swagger"

Not too concerned what you think of my intelligence level. Someone asked what it would take, listing Sanchez and Nolin + another prospect. I said it would probably take Norris as well. Obvious overpay.
  18. L54
My bad Gordie, I interpreted it the wrong way. My apologies dude

Have you had your coffee yet??
  20. L54
Ya thats exactly what I'm saying. I'd love to give up all those pieces for Altuve. Sometimes you really need to cool it with your smart ass remarks. He'd be a great player to have on essentially any team. Obviously not worth it, as the "other prospect" I suggested was Norris, which makes no sense.
  21. L54
Maybe if it's Norris haha No way the Astros are even entertaining offers on him. If they were though....

    Irony at it's finest

Cards and Pirates. As a few guys have mentioned, the Cards are the model of consistency in baseball, one of the premier run teams in all of baseball. As for the Pirates, I loved Travis Snider so I will always be partial to him. Also, huge Cutch fan. Enjoyed their run last year.
