  1. What I'm reading in this thread is that Paul Molitor should be MOY.
  2. Ya pretty bizarre. Doesn't really strike me as a great athlete either. Good for him though.
  3. Mike Trout steals by year: 2012- 49 2013-33 2014-16 2015-10 BSR: 2012- 14.1 2013- 7.8 2014- 6.5 2015- 2.2 Now obviously I don't know if Mike Trout's 60 yd dash time has decreased since 2012, and these two stats don't really give that much of an insight into pure speed. But if presented with the numbers above, I would be able to make a well educated guess that he has indeed gotten slower. To question whether or not it has decreased at all is a little extreme. I don't know for sure, but speed likely peaks around 22-24 for most athletes. Sad to think that we have probably already seen the best years of Mike Trout's career
  4. I agree, ban all the bullies!
  5. lol wut? Lonnie Chisenhall has a DRS of 11.
  6. Stro Fap
  7. Joey Bats and myofascial release! Something I've incorporated into the hockey players I'm responsible for. The importance of functional movement is beginning to gain a lot of traction in the sports world. I doubt JB gets traded. In fact, out of him and EE I expect Bautista to be brought back in 2017.
  8. Good stuff. Still a long way to go, but holy f*** is this exciting.
  9. I would hope nobody gets taken lightly come the playoffs. I do think that the Rangers are the worst of the three teams listed, so understandably lots of people are saying they are the best match up. Price could run through their LHH lineup the first game while the Jays (should) tee off on Gallardo. I'd be surprised if he was able to shut down this offense three times this year.
  10. Rangers are the worst team out of those 3, so I'll go ahead and say them.
  11. What's going to happen to Hutch?
  12. Forgive me for not reading every post on the BJMB
  13. Forgive me for not being able to read your mind
  14. And the only thing separating Goins from Tulowitzki status is the bat. Do you see why you can't make statements like that?
  15. Over 14 games he has a higher average than OBP.
  16. Just checking in because I can't post much until later tonight, but seeing Stro on the mound is an unreal sight!
  17. Happy to see he'll be involved in baseball decisions.
  18. Can we get a count on the number of times Kevin Barker says "fastbawl" while analyzing Martin's game tonight?
  19. I wish a bunt would've ruined Lewis' perfect game.
  20. I think he's talking to himself. Would not surprise me around here.
  21. Nope, especially when you consider Muni Kawasaki is most likely the best in house option to replace Goins' spot in 2016 if you trade Travis. Tulo/Travis/Goins >>>> Tulo/Goins/Kawasaki
  22. The Jays finally have a nice middle infield with an adequate back up, and some really think that makes Travis expendable? Insane.
  23. Blah blah blah. Would you rather him have not learned from his mistakes? You could literally make this argument for 29 other GM's in baseball. Highlight the s***** trades, and roughly outline the good ones. It's pretty obvious that there would've been no Miami deal done without Reyes. To say he shouldn't have had him included and keep the $5M Escobar is for lack of a better word, retarded. Frankly, I'm sick and tired of hearing about the Marlins trade as an excuse to let go of AA. You also forgot to mention that a 3 WAR season from Hech would bring his WAR total to a whopping 1 (!) win above replacement in three years for Miami. As for Mark Buehrle? He'll likely end up with his third consecutive 2 win season for the Jays. Let's get rid of the guy who has brought in the AL MVP and second best SS in the world for the foreseeable future all because he may have lost some surplus value while Paul Beeston pushed him in that direction. AA has shown the ability to creatively add impact talent at the Major League level. You can say what you want about his past mistakes, but with guidance from Shapiro I do believe this front office can be very successful.
  24. I've yet to see one person here make that claim.
