  1. Is anyone actually saying the season is over? I’m not that’s for sure. But with expectations so high I thought this team would be 6-2 in convincing fashion. The start against the A’s only teased us right off the hop. Now we are signing Patrick Corbin and Kirk has a broken finger
  2. The way he stood up in the crowd after the third one was fantastic
  3. Jo Adell leading the league early on with 1 WAR already
  4. Never said they’re a bad team Never called for drastic moves But playing .500 ball during the softest stretch of the schedule is discussion worthy can’t win the East in April but you can lose it
  5. My guy if you want to subscribe to the theory that everything is just random then that’s fine But right now anyone observing this team can see things are not the same as they were at the end of last year. Bats are flat and defensively they have not been good odds of that changing against the Dodgers are low
  6. Brendon Little has options Fluharty has been the best lefty in the pen for the last 6 months Plus you have Rogers and Varland to get lefties Punt Little to the freaking moon
  7. That’s one way to look at it I see a team that can’t win a series against two of the worst teams in the league Yanks are gonna make us their ***** if this continues. Not excited to see the Dodgers come to town either
  8. Maybe that’s because he’s like a year removed from high school
  9. I’ve actually bought both my parents those books. Doubt my dad has filled it in yet but I’m sure my mom has 😂
  10. That’s a really great gift idea, especially for anyone with parents who are a little older
  11. Win the American League. I think anything short of that would be disappointing for fans and the players. The Jays have shown they’re in win now mode so if they’re in it you know they will be adding at the deadline to an already very good team. Watching the Jays play real playoff baseball for the first time in a decade was so awesome, let’s hope we get it again this year
  12. Any Sandbagger fans? This is going to be a beauty Imagine telling the Buffalo Boys five years ago they’d be doing a Sandbagger with the chiclets guys fresh off a World Series appearance. What a ride
  13. It’s like a scene out of The Office
  14. Judge is a great face for the game. He’s larger than life and is one of the best hitters in the world, a perfect combination. That does not make you the defacto captain of team USA USA Baseball feels like Hockey Canada how they are both suffering from the old boys club operation. Tripping over their own feet
  15. It really is. These guys acted like they were actually headed to Iran to save the Western hemisphere They wanted to be the American hockey team so badly. What they and the entire sports media class still don’t realize is that a hockey game of the same magnitude does take courage and sacrifice to win. It’s physical and personal. Baseball on the other hand is the only sport where you can’t just out will or outwork an opponent into submission. You win by making the least amount of mistakes Great ending to a great tournament
  16. I can’t stop trolling on twitter right now
  17. It was a much closer game than I anticipated. I was worried it might be 7-0 or something similar Multiple chances but Naylor with second and third nobody out popping up is the one that stings the most. Gotta at least just hit the ball on the ground and score one. When you’re the underdog you have to do those things to win
  18. Would be fun if it wasn’t 5-0 after three or something. I just don’t think the bullpen will be able to hold on whether it’s walking guys or giving up hits or both Who are we seeing on the mound for the US?
  19. Ya it’s a good squad. Probably a top 4 team behind Japan, DR and the Americans. Unfortunate part is this is the best Nick Pivetta Canada could’ve ever had and maybe Freddie’s last real WBC chance
  20. Theoretically Nick Pivetta for 5 innings Jonah Tong Erik Sabrowksi Matt Brash Cade Smith Owen Caissie - LF Freddie Freeman - 1B Vladimir Guerrero Jr - 3B Josh Naylor - DH Tyler O’Neil - RF Otto Lopez - SS Abraham Toro - 2B Bo Naylor - C Denzel Clarke - CF tldr - there is no hope and Americans will endlessly mock Canada once again
  21. Aaron Judge and team USA take on Bichette and team Brazilian
