  1. I’m just trying to figure it out why it matters to you. If the guy who owns the place wants to then fine but guys jumping out and crying about threads being made or where they’re posted is just so cringe Nobody is reading the other sub forums right now. I didn’t even know Morton signed Friday until like half an hour ago. This is just a call to action for the dynasty leagues that are like a decade long hosted primarily via the people here, that have essentially become a part of the community for some
  2. Agreed 10x over
  3. Who freaking cares bad boys bad boys… whatcha gonna do whatcha gonna do when Bronwie comes for you
  4. IDK G Pretty hard to crack that roster even if it features Gavin Lux. A place like KC will have opportunities for him
  5. Jeez I might join the dispersal
  6. Can we get them their own badge? Maybe in red and blue?
  7. I love how we now have post police
  8. Exactly. If the thread doesn’t gain traction it will fade into oblivion. Who cares
  9. I support people creating threads like this when it’s January 5th and there’s nothing going on. I couldn’t care less
  10. Sure the trade offers could be the same as the offseason. Probably not but they could be or they could be worse or Vlad could be injured or the Jays could be 43-40
  11. You can make up as many scenarios as you want, but there’s like a 95% probability one entire season of Vlad is worth more than 3 months Holding him you risk injury, under performance, a Jays team that’s 3 games above .500 Of course the ship to trade Vlad this offseason has all but set sail with so many first baseman already changing teams
  12. I’m not either. I guess admin wants to have a cleaner set up with more defined lines
  13. Not going to lie I wish this thread was on the main board
  14. Ya Vlad is returning way more than Harry Ford as the center piece
  15. Newcomer is hard because hardly nobody new has shown up in years it used to be we had good candidates every year. I wanted to include it anyhow kinda feels like Jays24 really started posting regularly this year so I get that selection

  17. Please no crying if you win! (Or lose?)
  18. It’s been a while. I quickly found 2016 when searching the old board to get ideas for categories. Probably not the last one but it’s been too long
  19. I don’t agree with it either but looks like that’s what’s happening Jays are going to need SP’s in 2026 and beyond so Flaherty makes sense whether they’re competing or not. I don’t want to sign anyone with a QO because giving up 2026 picks does not make sense assuming this team wins like 78 games
  20. Welcome to the 2024 JaysCentre Forum Awards, inspired by Michael Scott’s Dundie Awards and Antonio Brown’s Crackers of the Year Been a while since these have taken place and now is a great time to revive them as we enter our JaysCentre era Voting closes January 2, 2025 Copy and paste the following to place your vote Newcomer of the Year: Most Valuable Poster: Humorist of the Year: Most Insightful Poster: Ross Atkins’ Biggest Fan: Best Foreign Poster: Thread of the Year: Drama Queen Award: Ross Atkins’ Biggest Hater: Infrequent Poster of the Year: Best Moderator: Who do you think is the oldest poster award: Good luck everyone!
  21. The path forward is sign No you don’t have to go all in. In fact I think that’s the last thing that should happen Saddling yourself with 50M in yearly commitments to Bregman/Santander and Pivetta, forfeiting picks to limp into July around .500 would not be smart I think it’s clear at this point they are fine with a) taking the comp pick for Bo/Vlad or b) trading them at the deadline if theyre too far from contention Nothing they’ve done this offseason suggests otherwise The only major player who makes sense at this point is Flaherty
