Sorry Hurl but the Cincinnati Reds don’t need sponsorship dollars so badly that they’re selling advertising on the f***ing helmets. It’s an awful look, next thing we know they’ll be monetizing the space in the outfield grass for more $$$.

No it’s not, but this is exactly why he would be a target. He’s quietly become a great hitter and probably doesn’t take a boatload of cash to lock up. Rotate him through 1B/OF/DH

Guys I’d throw money at: Anthony Rendon Gerrit Cole Adam Eaton Nicholas Castellanos Marcell Ozuna Quite a few interesting RP’s too. Jays will probably end up with Nick Markakis and Kyle Gibson next year though.

There may have been stuff going on behind the scenes that no one other than Mark Shapiro and Ross Atkins knows about. It’s likely that he had one foot out the door as he wasn’t happy with the direction of the team. He’s an ego maniac and his sulking was a detriment within the clubhouse. I for one noticed quite the difference in his demenor.
