Stroman has played so many fans as fools.. look at me, I tweet about how much I care about you guys! I'm not the bad guy, its those penny pinchers upstairs who hate me because I'm short. Just remember, #HDMH. Do I blame him? Not at all, he clearly understands what he's doing. It's just funny to watch grown men get their panties in a knot because they can't come to grips with the fact that professional sports are a business and they become attached to these guys like they're their own.

The tattoo theory is so f***ing boring. Lots of people get tattoos of their significant others name... and end up divorced! This isn't a feather in your cap in the argument for extending him. What would you pay him SJF? Everyone loves to blow their own horn saying it wouldn't be that hard. But if you were in control of the Jays you'd be on the hook for Jose Bautista and 25M this year because you're a homer who will pay current Blue Jays anything to keep them. It was blatantly obvious at this point an extension wasn't happening. A year ago maybe it was realistic, or maybe they found out he wants way more than they're comfortable giving. You literally have no clue, and neither do I, but that doesn't mean it was as easy as rubbing his back and telling him he's a good boy.

What should they have gave him? I love this rational without any numbers. To think they didn't know what he was looking for and decided they weren't willing to match that price is laughable.
