I don’t really see how Price makes sense at this point. The depth chart has like 10 interesting guys as it stands. There is no reason to blow any sort of financial muscle the team has just to add for the sake of it. The Price rumour was a shot at Boras to make up his mind. We will move on if you don’t like our offer. An alpha move from a beta. If this team can prove they’re on the cusp of contention this year next year should see the front office being even more aggressive in free agency. Betts, Springer, Bauer, Paxton, etc. No need to tie up 20M to Price just because they can.
