  1. Aaron Sanchez I think
  2. Interesting idea, I hadn’t thought of this. My guess is no and that we will just see them use piggy backs or opener/long guy to manage everyone’s workload.
  3. I agree with all of this. I would rather overpay Paxton for one year than sign Walker.
  4. That’s my reasoning behind Odorizzi, they are going to need the innings. Ryu is far from a lock to stay healthy and will require some maintenance days where his start gets pushed back a day or two. They backed off him pretty hard at the end of the year last year. Rick Porcello is another guy who fits the bill when it comes to providing innings.
  5. Need another starter to chew up innings. Odorizzi would be my preference. He should be cheap enough that he wouldn’t hault another addition at the deadline or next offseason. I don’t have faith in any starter beyond Ryu and betting on him making 25 starts seems like a bad idea.
  6. Jays land Bauer 3/99M incoming
  7. With the flexibility the Jays already have with their lineup, the idea of having Martin and Groshans just waiting to plug in is exciting.
  8. Lol yup. Everyone online seems to want to sign Walker to like a three year deal.
  9. Good to see he’s working on the launch angle, reports are questioning the power eh Jimmy
  10. He will never fit your definition of slim
  11. Stroman is clearly the fifth best starter for the Mets He’s also the second best Marcus S the Jays have ever had
  12. Panik? He’d be third on that list but could do worse
  13. Want to know what’s entertaining? Winning baseball games. Look, I’m probably one of the more traditional fans of the game here and I’d love to watch guys log 200 innings year in and year out. But I’d rather watch the Jays compete via any means necessary than complain about the way the game is evolving.
  14. I don’t think it necessarily will always be rotation by committee. The Jays just don’t have the guys who you are confident rolling out every five days for 5+ innings.
  15. Looks like an accumulation of guys who they can utilize in 2-3 inning roles and mitigate against injury Matz Chatwood Ray Stripling Pearson Building depth. They’ll probably sign one guy who will be considered a more traditional starter but this is what we’re working with in my opinion
  16. Id be interested in guys like Jed Lowrie, Assdribble, or even bringing Panik back. I think if they upgrade the bench it needs to be a left handed hitter who can play second and third.
  17. Anyone know if you can find Tim and Sid episodes online?
  18. I would be chapped if I owned him anywhere
  19. I can buy taking two extra weeks to feel comfortable at the dish after going through the roller coaster players did to start the season last year
  20. Hello old friend nice to see you
  21. Just DH Vlad and move Biggio to third.
  22. You have zero clue if Biggio can play a big league third lol
