  1. He's got the bag secured he has nothing to worry about
  2. Yikes that sucks for the Padres
  3. Donaldson is like the chick you had a great summer with and at the end you went your separate ways and there were no hard feelings
  4. Looks like Rowdy’s brother was in the wedding party at the end
  5. Why would someone who you think is a POS be a likely candidate to not have the vax? It’s really not difficult to see how this thread goes off the rails
  6. Ya I don’t follow
  7. Jays were lucky with injuries last year even tho George missed half the year Current team is good enough to make the post season and as we just saw that’s all you have to do. Exciting year ahead!
  8. No I think full seasons from Berrios, Manoah and Kikuchi + 130 games from Springer + Biggio not being Ryan Goins + an improved pen cover the WAR lost from Semien. Yes I exaggerated the rotation part but my point is the team doesn’t need a 7 WAR infielder to replicate last years team.
  9. I think at this point I’d be fine with Matt Chapman at third. His offensive profile is fairly redundant but the price should be moderate and like Scion said his defense would be welcome on the infield with the amount of GB’s the rotation is going to get.
  10. The team doesn’t need to replace the 7 (wow!) wins Semien provided through one player. The rotation now vs to start 2021 probably covers most of it already. You hopefully get 130 games from Springer, a better Biggio and bullpen and they should win 90+ relatively easily.
  11. I would have definitely preferred Gray to Kikuchi. I have no idea if Gunnar is comparable value but would’ve been interested in that.
  12. Exactly. Even if it’s a 4.20 ERA logging those innings will be valuable to this team.
  13. Agreed Kikuchi 3/36 > Matz 4/44
  14. If he’s decent in 2022 all he has to be is rosterable the next two seasons @ 10M No shame in paying for depth and flexing a little financial muscle
  15. Awesome. Kikuchi was one of the guys I wanted.
  16. The bridge between Donaldson and the FO has been burned by my estimation. Could be totally wrong.
  17. Ya Donaldson is like the perfect fit but I think it’s a pipe dream.
  18. The Braves signed Albies and Acuna to sweetheart deals and aren’t sure they can give Freddie year 6? Embarrassing
  19. I was on the old forum in HS, graduated in 2009 so I’m approaching 15 years.
  20. So brave
  21. I don’t think a floor really accomplishes anything. All it does is forces teams to pay mediocre veterans more to reach a threshold. The biggest obstacle is getting more money to the guys earning less than 1M/year and not guys who have been through arb and are signing FA deals. Like if Baltimore started the year with Adley, Rodriguez and Hall in the majors they would probably be a better team than signing a couple starters and a s***** catcher to cover the minimum they have to meet.
  22. Is ESPN+ the best way to watch NCAA?
  23. I held on to Moncada for so long because I couldn’t come to grips with moving on from him. Big time PTSD. Moved him just before the draft this year for 1-7 (Khalil Watson) and Verlander to supplement my dinosaur rotation of Morton/Verlander/Strasburg/Greinke
  24. I traded Soto for Moncada which ended up winning me my first of three BORED championships. Awful trade but I remember distinctly Yoan Moncada won me a category on Sunday of the semi final. 2B eligibility. I knew nothing about prospects back then. Bregman>Moncada
