I’ll give them this offseason to make the change. The three fatties all had varying degrees of success up until this point. Then they all bottomed out. Let’s see if they can find the common denominator

I’m sure the “factory” has all the hardware necessary but I do question the people in charge of the R&D side of it. No idea who that is or what their label is, but we should be closer to the top in terms of developing players with the investments made and the focus put on it.

So dumb. He should’ve had the surgery at the start of the year. Why even mess around with a guy with zero service time? Get the surgery and lick your wounds. TJS has like a 97% success rate - there’s really no risk just the time aspect

It’s bizarre to keep handing him starts in the middle of a playoff race. I don’t have the answer but as of today it’s clearly not Manoah. I was shocked to see him brought back up so quickly, I didn’t think we’d see him again this year

Pretty hard to know that 6 years after you trade him Lane Thomas will run a .367 BABIP and be worth two WAR

It was stupid to bring him back up to begin with. Oh wow he had a good start against the Tigers. I bet he would do ok against the A’s too!!
