The time to extend Jansen was last offseason. He has less incentive to now a year closer to free agency Pumped to have the bowling ball and his pool noodle arm throwing balls that tail to right field leading the charge behind the plate

That’s what I’m thinking. You just plug Manoah or Ryu in where you want to push the other guys back a day. Lorenzen can help raise the floor. He would be insurance on Ryu/Manoah.

I don’t disagree although I’m sure they will manipulate the rotation to give Gausman/Berrios an extra day of rest rather than running straight 1-6 Idk. Ryu and Manoah might both be butt cheeks and it’s all moot I could see the Jays ending up with Michael Lorenzen too

Agreed. Thankfully I think it’s only a matter of time with both Ryu and Green coming back. Still would be useful to have an arm you trust with a 7 run lead
