I don't know much about basketball but when watching that whole game, it certainly felt like Powell was the biggest reason that the Raptors were able to separate the score in the 2nd half.

Remember when the trade was leaking and we thought something like JPA + Nicolino would be fair? hahahaha And then d'Arnaud leaked and we were like f***. And then Syndergaard too and a bunch of people became temporary Rays fans. In context, nobody expected Syndergaard to be this good. I guess ONE of d'Arnaud or him would have been fair kind of. -
Joey Gallo is destroying AAA with an amazingly good K rate and he will almost certainly be a better player and fantasy asset than Miguel Sano at this point. I anticipate that Texas will jettison Mitch Moreland within the next 60 days and what will eventually be known as the "Gallo era" of Major League Baseball will finally begin.

He looked completely different in his first game vs TB (like, really good). Jury is still out on whether or not he's improved substantially. Last two games he has been like you said: mostly fastballs, almost no changeups, very few swinging strikes, and not so great command. -

Last year in the playoffs he must've gone like 1/40 from the arc lol. More airballs than makes, for sure.

I don't know if there's very much (anything?) tools-wise that precludes Trumbo from being as good at hitting as say JD Martinez. Just a matter of not chasing balls, and attacking strikes, and connecting with said strikes. Of course you could say the same thing for so many players.

There is very little functional difference between a 4 run lead and a 3 run lead. Teams should use their best relievers. There was no way of knowing that today's game would present a save opportunity. Save opportunity bullpen management is stupid anyway. I don't think it matters. Storen yesterday and Osuna today - what would the difference be?
