Problems with Aaron Sanchez:
- Command isn't good.
- Has no effective out pitch.
- Has no third pitch.
Sanchez' offseason plan to get better:
- Add as much muscle and fat as possible!
I like a lighter slaw; oil and vinegar instead of mayo.
Spicing it up a bit is good too. Some lime, dijon, hot pepper or chili powder, maybe garlic.
I'm pretty sure KFC slaw is just a really s***** creamy slaw. It's bad.
A is probably true. Not sure about "freak" but that's semantics.
B has to be more about logic than empiricism. The information isn't there to test anything. It's not like we have accurate flexibility or body fat % information on anybody.
He's just trying to get Toronto to negotiate like a big boy team. The first number in a negotiation often anchors where things will go moving forward. Truthfully he might be willing to accept 4/100 right now if it was offered. We have no idea.
Hilarious how it is playing out though.
Basically the same contracts you've stated, but even then I'd rather explore other things first (like EE/JD extensions).
I like the odds of Bautista's demands falling quite a bit this year though. He's super old so he'll probably get hurt once or twice, maybe hit a bit worse, maybe look even more like a DH/1B.
Could flip Liriano to someone else that was after him.
Or could trade another arm. Anderson, Fiers, Hendricks, Iwakuma, Iglesias = all mobile at varying prices.
I would be looking for an offensive upgrade and/or a closer.
Yeah like Nick Franklin
Seriously though he could very well be a mini-Zobrist. 2B/SS/OF eligible through his prime with a good slash line and some counting stats.
Poohead could just be making this s*** up. Rogers could leak an incorrect (slightly higher) number so that they can tell Jose it didn't come from them.
5/100 isn't a lowball. It might be above his market value and above his projected value. His closest recent comparables got contracts in the 4/70 range.
