  1. No, but he had some injury thing. He should get a lot of PAs going forward.

  3. The K f***ING P leadoff experiment/audition continues today against the Phillies
  4. REALLY BIG LINEUP CARD: I believe this is televised on MLBN.
  5. you mean like yourself?
  6. a .770 OPS for Toronto is basically a 110 wRC+
  7. That's literally his projected wRC+ WOW YOU MUST LOVE KP
  8. Yeah I agree - I listened to the game on the radio today and he looked really good and confedent.
  9. Mrs. z3r0s needs to edit it so it displays better in the circle, I guess.
  10. Not sure, I've never had that problem. Our league settings at the top look like: http://i.imgur.com/dOcERqq.png
  11. Switch waiver mode to continuous - processing day Friday (or whenever.) It'll process claims at 3am on Friday. Then just switch the waiver mode back to normal on Friday. The commissioner's yearly bonus is getting first dibs on Free Agency.
  12. Yes! That article is awesome. Trueblood has some talent, evidently. I wonder what the Rays analytics team would/does even tell Dickerson. Probably nothing
  13. You gotta believe man
  14. Leadoff hitter candidate KP with a ringing dub of Michael Fulmer
  15. Listen here http://m.mlb.com/tv/e14-509996-2017-03-01/v1227156183?&clickOrigin=MSB&team=mlb Pillar Martin Bautista DH Smoak Upton Ceciliani Barney Goins Elmore Tepera through one inning so far.
  16. On the subject of hackers (and I know this is now off topic for the thread), Corey Dickerson is insanely fun to watch. He swings at basically everything, like Pillar, but he can also homer on basically anything. http://m.mlb.com/video/v1199216883/tbtex-dickerson-belts-threerun-home-run-to-center/?query=corey+dickerson
  17. That's a good demonstration of how good his hit tool actually is! The majority of players can't even put that pitch in play. He's like the poor, poor, poor, poor hobo man's Vlad Sr.
  18. His walk rates were also pretty low in the minors. I'm assuming he's swung at everything his entire baseball career. Patience as a physical tool is interesting - the sixth tool. I wonder what the biggest changes in BB% over a career are. Mostly interested in improvements. I'm assuming lots of veterans show declines in BB% as they lose a bit of bat speed and can't afford to wait as long on pitches.
  19. Leadoff talk aside, I still have a sliver of hope that Pillar can be a better hitter. The bat to ball skills are pretty good, and with that contact ability and his speed he probably has the tools to BABIP .320+ If guys like Reed Johnson and Josh Harrison can hit .280/.320 then Pillar should be physically capable of it, and maybe a bit more. Just needs to lay off a bit of the junk!
  20. anecdotes anecdotes anecdotes bring me more ANECDOTES!!!
  21. The Coors adjustment will finally kick in this year and he'll string together some .350 wOBA seasons for Toronto and remain an everyday SS until he's 40.
  22. Maybe for a month or two, in between lengthy DL stints? His chronic condition makes any highly athletic movement risky. Running, sprinting, sliding, repeated swinging will all break him down in a matter of weeks/months, even if he is at DH.
  23. Dr. Dinger's idea of fantasy analysis is to click the 'Current' column on Yahoo. Use this to your strategic advantage, readers.
