  1. Keep in mind that this is for the poopy 2021 NPD. It's not like this is a lottery for Torkelson. That might influence how important everyone thinks it is. I'm sure there are some good prospects available and there might be some foreign assets in the offseason but for the most part these first round picks will not be first round picks.
  2. The Indians are good and want 2020+2021 contributors so you're probably right but ignoring context I think Manoah is the more valuable asset.
  3. I think a couple of those comps are a bit fat but maybe I am biased. Jansen >> Hedges (control) Gurriel > Naylor (talent) Manoah > Quantrill Arias = Orelvis Cantillo > Kloffenstein I don't actually know enough about Owen Miller to even try to compare him to Miguel Hiraldo. If you change Jansen to McGuire then the list might be pretty close in total value. But still might be too heavy on Toronto's side.
  4. Clevinger + Greg Allen + PTBNL for Naylor + Quantrill + Arias + Joey Cantillo + Hedges + Owen Miller
  5. Seems awfully light. Naylor and Quantrill or more name value than actual value right now.
  6. I wonder if Cleveland is getting Francisco Mejia back? More likely they would want Hedges. The deal will need to be centred around someone like Abrams or Patino or Campusano. Josh Naylor could make sense but he kind of sucks. Wil Myers fits the Indians but I don't know how they make the money work.
  7. Seems that he is a rental. Am I missing something?
  8. Speaking of this, we need to decide on how to do the lottery in this league. I actually have a conflict of interest because my team is bad. Might need to farm out this decision.
  9. This is one of those trades where the GM says they would theoretically trade a player but they would have to be blown away. Preller just decided to blow Dipoto away.
  10. Padres gave up more for Austin Nola than the Dodgers gave up for Mookie Betts. Huge deal. Munoz is a gifted arm, future closer. France is probably a league average position player.
  11. He literally asked to be banned again. Suicide by mod for the second time in a week. I don't think we'll see him for a while.
  12. Trevor Rosenthal, Mitch Moreland, and Jason Castro does not really feel like "loading up". I guess Moreland is having a great year and Castro is a slight upgrade.
  13. That's a massive return for Mitch Moreland.
  14. You're both wrong. I think. Alford would have went unclaimed by the entire AL. • When a player is on waivers, other teams can submit a claim. If more than one team does, those in the same league as that player's team get first priority, starting with the club with the worst record on the day of the claim. Then, the priority moves to the other league, starting with the worst record. For example, if a National League team puts a player on waivers, the NL team with the worst record gets the first shot at him, and the last-place American League club would be right behind the top NL club.
  15. Still looks weeks away. Wearing a brace, labouring.
  16. Ross Atkins leaked that stuff so people like you would shill for the team against calling up their good prospects. smh
  17. Lynn has been a stud for a couple years. Very interested to see if the Rangers can get enough value for him
  18. I am confused.
  19. that's their pre-2018 report
  20. sometimes loss of feeling in the fingers is a sign of elbow trouble.
  21. Panik is so much better than Drury. It’s not close!!!
  22. It’s a changeup lefty though. Would probably eat Espinal alive
  23. Every other GM: Hi Ross, can I help you? Ross Atkins: No thanks - just looking.
