  1. What's the opposite of a silent auction? Everyone should just post their offers and I'll pick which one BTS should take I mean Trout just went for Bo and Bieber in the DDL so the market is set. What are you hiding
  2. Jim it's Mike Trout. Just send your strongest offer.
  3. I only like Randys. I mean I'd probably take Conforto if I had to...
  4. Nice little dealio there. Send me a sane Arozarena offer
  5. I think this stuff might matter more when you have extreme players, like one high OBP slap hitter vs. a strikeout and HR king. Toronto has some well rounded hitters who hit for average, get on base, and hit for power. I don't think you can really go wrong ordering guys like Springer, Bo, Vlad, Gurriel, Teoscar, Biggio, Tellez, Semien, Kirk as long as the better hitters all things considered are near the top.
  6. Man, I can't even imagine taking some of these players over Kirk in dynasty. lmao
  7. That offseason was exciting but those trades were godawful and anyone without a peanut brain could tell that from the moment they were made. The team traded valuable prospect capital and controllable players for mostly free agent contracts... puke. Would have been fine if it worked out but it didn't so it was bad on bad in hindsight. This offseason is just as exciting arguably and it is responsible and smart!
  8. I think you can justify that. Fisher has patience, power, and speed so in theory his ceiling is higher. Davis is of course a better defender and possibly better at making contact. David probably makes better use of his speed too. They might be close all things considered but Fisher's tool package is less common.
  9. I thought Wilson would sign for maybe $5M. Maybe going cheaper with Phelps opens up some money for Paxton instead of Porcello.
  10. This is a disastrous season for h2h fantasy hockey. So many Covid affected players and postponed games
  11. Lowrie signed a minor league deal with Oakland this week
  12. Most of these kinds of signings are about opportunity and not money. The M's will not be pumping money into their pen or competing, likely, in 2022. The Jays could be. So Giles sees a clearer path to closing again in Seattle. Same deal with Marwin Gonzalez and Boston... pure bench player here but in Boston he could start, Dalbec and Cordero are both flimsy options.
  13. Fisher is out of options, Davis isn't. Even if you think Fisher is a bit better the option makes it a no-brainer.
  14. Oh I get it. That's an easy answer though - expected win % based on runs (pythagorean win-loss) is more granular than rounded win totals.
  15. NL East is mediocre? Man, they're pretty good though. CF Acuna - superstar 1B Freeman - big star 2B Albies - big star LF Ozuna - star? C d'Arnaud - solid SS Swanson - solid 3B Riley - contributor RF - Pache/Water - star upside Soroka Anderson Fried Morton Smyly Wright/Wilson/Davidson Rotation blows Toronto's out of the water UNLESS Pearson has a huge leap this year and someone like Fried regresses big time. Everyone in their top 5 was legit 4 WAR upside.
  16. I'm a Randy Arozarena groupie but not sure we line up.
  17. Why sign Michael Brantley when you already have Josh Palacios?
  18. I don't remember seeing any? Happy to chance my opinion and move him out of the danger zone. He seems interesting to me but also very much an in between OF prospect.
  19. There are still numerous players who could be DFA'd or traded for cash without any regret. I'm not sure Derek Fisher plays a regular season game with Toronto this year. Out of options. Ty Tice is completely fungible. Same with Josh Palacios. Payamps of course is cuttable. Zeuch or Wag could be traded for a light return.
  20. It's extra weird because they aren't even a horrendous team. Some holes, sure, but the core is good and they have a puncher's chance of getting into the playoffs. They must just think Benintendi is almost a push with Cordero... and projections kind of support that. Steamer600 Franchy = 1.3 wins, Tendi = 1.6 wins. Cordero is also more tooled up than Benintendi and has more team control so sure.
  21. Sounds like the Royals, Red Sox, and Mets are about to have a three way! wow!
  22. Final offseason moves, my predictions: Rick Porcello signed, 1 year deal, Kluber money Justin Wilson signed, 1 year deal Joe Panik signed, MiLB deal but he breaks camp with the team
  23. More importantly - what will the new team name be? You can't be Twist and no Trout. ISO Horny is available...
  24. I was going to say, I bet a few blue chip prospects from our first prospect draft have been held onto
