    Baseball America international IFA board came out. 20 names, Jays linked to one of them. 10 Luis Meza 2021 VenezuelaC Notes: Born: Sept. 11, 2004. B-T: R-R. Ht.: 5-11. Wt.: 185. Venezuela consistently is home to top international catchers, with Diego Cartaya (Dodgers), Francisco Alvarez (Mets) and Ronnier Quintero (Cubs) in the most recent signing classes. Meza fits into that tier of players as a catcher who projects to stick behind the plate and is one of the better hitters in Venezuela. He has a loose, easy swing with a knack for being on time and strong game performance. He's a high-contact hitter who uses the whole field, with room on his broad-shouldered frame to fill out and drive the ball with more impact as he gets stronger. Meza's catch-and-throw skills are also advanced for his age. The Blue Jays are expected to sign Meza, who trains with Kander Depablos and Reynaldo Gonzalez.

    Probably March 2022. The NPD will always be in the spring. I like doing it after prospect list season but before there is a significant amount of spring training data so the first day of March feel like the sweet spot. So yeah, drafting someone who doesn't sign is a non-issue now.

    Also, this Draft Room is great.

    The top end of this draft is actually fine. Most of these guys are at least fringe top 100 types or possible 2022 top 100 prospects.

    Hmmm might go Eichel with those stats.

    In a 12 team keep 7 league you are always going to want to consolidate lesser pieces into elite keeper pieces so I think Hamilton and Atkinson are irrelevant if you are not competing. But I am actually not sure if Eichel is better than Barkov. Barkov has been a point per game guy for a few years now and Eichel is on s***** team and has been a +/- liability. It might depend on the specific league stats.

    So the Draft Room does plop the player onto your MLB roster. Everyone should immediately demote their dude after making the pick, assuming you want them in the minors. If they don't have a green flag and you want them demoted a commissioner can do it.

    Yeah this is going to be much more efficient than a traditional spreadsheet/email draft.

    That would be fine too, as long as Fantrax doesn't let someone make a pick that would take them over max roster size

    We will commissioner fix any roster pickle that come about by chance and was not the fault of the owner. Force a drop for you, or whatever.

    It looks like add/drops are frozen on Fantrax during the draft.

    Note that you can create a queue in the draft room and auto-pick. I would highly recommend doing that, especially if you can't log in around the clock.

    And we are off. I've upped the max roster to 27 during the draft only, in case the system makes you draft players directly to your MLB roster before you demote them

    Hello. There are no cuts anymore. Full dynasty league with 26 man rosters and 14 man farms. You just need to have enough space before the draft for every pick you plan on using.

    Have to think that he just hasn't been offered a guaranteed deal and he's holding out for one.

    Tough to pull the trigger on this one but my farm is still in okay shape. Bieber is pretty insane and he's so young. If two of the prospects turn into stars I might regret this but I think the likeliest scenario has Dominguez not living up to the hype and only one of Vaughn or Lux becoming a consistent fantasy star.
