The vast majority of the offense is underperforming projections. Some of them, by a wide margin.
Is it something in the collective approach? Bo Bichette is, for example, not only a hacker but he hits a lot of opposite field fly balls - probably a bad idea with the deadened ball. Alejandro Kirk, same type of flyball patterns and he's not the type of guy to hit opposite field homers with a dead ball. Vlad - lots of oppo flyballs. Teoscar, same thing?
