    It would be cool to see a contract where they basically say... okay we will pay you $5M pro-rated to the actual amount of games you play, but once you hit HR number 700 we expect you to just retire lol Like if he ends this season at 697 homers or something it would be visually and aesthetically painful

    Them losing White is kind of just a guy falling off their roster. Like in fantasy when you are the #1 team and you cut a good player. They have tons of SP depth and players getting healthy, he was going to be demoted and disgruntled, so they took a prospect upgrade now.

    Strip found a plus changeup and is throwing it 25% of the time with good results it's making his FB more effective too, for obvious reasons he has FIVE usable pitches now: 4S, CH, SL, CU, and the sinker he doesn't throw a whole lot at 32 years old with a spotty track record for health and innings he should not command big money but he is positioning himself extremely well for free agency would love to have him stick around. kind of insane that he probably walks and gets an AAV at or less than Kikuchi's for the next couple of years while Toronto may end up releasing Kikuchi mid 2023... sigh

I am basically hunting a huge 2B upgrade, or huge RP or SP upgrades.

    Why? Just because he's been on a heater? I guess that makes enough sense but by both projections and characteristics I'd think Teoscar would be a better choice. If, of course, the team does not want Guerrero to hit leadoff and Kirk is seen as too slow lol.
