  1. Yeah, reminds me of Bo a bit. "“jumping on the pitch you like early on in the count and crushing it.”"
  2. The stadium will feel brand new in a couple years. The infield changes next offseason should be insane
  3. Okay it looks like she was in some national "future stars" cash grab in 2021 there are videos on youtube She actually gets 3 whiffs against two boys. Hits the first one but then gets a double play. And there is an AB she has where she works the count and pulls a flyball out with decent contact. It went nowhere but nice launch angle. Cheering for her
  4. See when I went to olivia baseball dot com and saw there was a video of her pitching for team USA against team Canada I was expecting to see her blow away most hitters. I was surprised to see most every Canadian woman making contact and hitting line drives or expertly aimed flyballs off her.
  5. Cody Bellinger must have snubbed little Terminator from an autograph a few years ago
  6. three straight 81 mph fastballs above his hands, easy work
  7. FB Velo Best: 83mph (Rapsodo/USA Baseball) Bat Exit Velocity: 85mph (USA Baseball, 2021) To be completely fair she throws probably 13 mph harder than 32 year old me
  8. There is a video of her pitching against the Team Canada women. 3.0IP, 5Ks, 3BB, 1ER She is going to possibly die in D1 baseball if they let her play at all. Legit worried about her safety. The Canadian women had no trouble squaring her up. There was a comebacker right at her knee. Some solid 80 mph singles to the outfield too.

  10. yeah 3rd seems light, he was still a top 20 CF in our DDL settings with his 2022 stats. but I probably would not give up a top 20 draft pick for him. maybe a 2nd + a young player I was not in love with.
  11. I traded a late 1st in 2024 + Tejay Antone + Carson Williams for Bellinger in the LOD. He should be worth even less than that (or nothing?) in a 20 team league of course.
  12. Sounds pretty good, Gallo gave Texas a lot of WAR. If you don't want to keep him then other team's probably don't care for him.
  13. Since when does Bellinger have elite CF D? It's perfectly cromulent. Nothing more, nothing less. I bet he's only a half step better than Springer out there.
  14. Barger, sounds like he has a better hit tool and more defensive value. Stronger arm and might be okay at short? Biggio obviously had a way better approach at the plate. Barger is an aggressive hitter. Barger has never been a base stealer so they probably have equivalent speed, but Biggio has such a high IQ I bet he's better at running the bases. They aren't similar at all, really! You might say Barger shares more qualities with Bo Bichette than Biggio. Left-handed poor man's Bo (take full scouting grades off the power and hit tool. Maybe more off the hit tool).
  15. Benintendi is not the "cheap route". He also sucks.
  16. Why do you think that's funny? Kiermaier has been better steadily for years. Everyone knows Bellinger was amazing once but that has almost no influence on his projections at this point.
  17. Since 2020 KK - 96 wRC+, 5.1 fWAR (in only 770 PA), +13 UZR/150 CB - 78 wRC+, 2.1 fWAR (in more PA), 0 UZR/150 I mean if money is the same it's not even close. I'm not even sure Bellinger has more "realistic upside" at this point. Yeah he has more lotto-ticket upside but if KK stays healthy (big question) and does not decline he could post 3-4 fWAR. But if it's one year for CB vs multi-year deal for mid 30s Kiermaier then give me Bellinger, the lotto ticket hacker
  18. The problem is that KK has a ton of leverage since there are no CF on the market. Even with his age and health problems he can probably wait a few months and milk a 3 year deal out of someone. Whereas Bellinger is looking for a one year pillow contract so it's in his best interest to just pick his team NOW so that his ideal spot doesn't get plugged by KK or Nimmo and he has to go to a different setting. Toronto needs to be decisive and act quickly.
  19. Because absent a trade the CF alternatives are Kiermaier, who is just as flawed Nimmo, at an astronomical cost Springer, who might die out there
  20. Yeah? Every team has this list
  21. Yup They hated Chapman for most of the year Have never liked Biggio
  22. Bellinger is going to want Toronto. It seems too obvious. Whether or not Toronto wants him is the question. Depends on what they think of his defense and his chances to help at all offensively. They’ll be weighing this against what they are being told Kiermaier wants, and whatever their trade discussions are so far.
