  1. Just another poopy ass Ranger
  2. BoSox destroying Jon Gray lfggggggggggggggggggg
  3. You are missing the point, lol. Jaysblue was the one who did the initial "well actually...."
  4. there are literally no Manoah fanbois I bet his family doesn't even like him we are in Mat Latos territory here
  5. Varsho is disappointing but he's doing juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust enough to keep hope that he could rekindle his 2022 level of production with some minor changes. Agreed the D-Backs are super fun. Too bad a lot of their young pitching absolutely s*** THE BED this year. Pfaadt, Nelson, Jameson, Henry, Cecconi. I mean, it's all Corbin Carroll I guess. without him they aren't that fun, haha.
  6. Crazy how the difference between 95 and 97+ for some guys is just ~five pounds of leg muscle. Just squat heavier and you will go from mediocre to elite. And then you get fat slobs like Alek Manoah... hahaha.
  7. Gabriel Moreno has 3.9 bWAR and leads baseball in BR's version of defensive WAR with 2.9 Big discrepancy with fWAR which sits at 1.5
  8. Alejandro Kirk absolutely f***s
  9. More genius baserunning!!!
  10. Holy s*** Did you see Torres run through second and try to murder Schneider???
  11. Yeah Ozuna's dead cat bounce is very surprising. I thought he was completely done.
  12. Insane race. I don't even know who I would vote for. Maybe Gallen tbh.
  13. Snell is the ERA leader and he has way more Ks than Steele
  14. Wander Franco being who he is is going to set the Rays back FOREVER on this too. Hahahah.
  15. It's weird because Florida is such a baseball hotbed And it's not just that they don't support pro sports because the Lightning pull very will in the NHL maybe it's like... you can drive 10 minutes anywhere in Florida and see entertaining baseball of some variety so why go all the way to St Pete or Miami?
  16. Romano's stuff is so much better than anyone else's that he's definitely tier 1. Sometimes it's messy but his career ERA doesn't lie, at this point.
  17. You think Joyce Lewis is more underrated than Riley Greene? Interesting
  18. BLARGH I mean at least Green and Yimi are still solid options. Both significantly better than the priors (being 2020 AJ Cole and his 5.20 xFIP). Richards is dead to me though, for leverage ROS Cabrera is almost dead to me. Exception for lefties in specific situations.
  19. His Stuff+ looks fine but it's not close to what it was in 2021 or 2020. It was 130 and 119 back then, and is only 110 now. His Location+ is 106 right now which is elite, and that is consistent with 2021 and 2020. His 4 seamer does not have the ride it used to. So the shape is worse. Last night I thought it looked like it was cutting a bit. His CB does not have the drop or spin it used to. He hasn't really found this pitch yet.
  20. Yeah probably But he also gave up runs in three consecutive appearances recently He's iffy!
  21. Yeah the study is not "damning". The purpose of the study was just to show that absorption through the skin is plausible. Being said, if Colabello came into accidental contact with DHCMT, it probably would be some form of topical steroid cream etc. that would be dissolved in something to facilitate absorption through the skin. It's not like he would just be bumping into the raw metabolite in the shower or something.
  22. Yeah realistically the suspension had minimal impact on his career.
  23. Some "worst case scenarios" where TEX/SEA/HOU never lose to a non-TEX/HOU/SEA team: A: Texas never loses again, Seattle only loses to Texas, Houston only loses to Seattle: Texas 95 wins, Seattle 87 wins, Houston 92 wins. Jays need to go 5-7. B: Seattle never loses again, Texas only loses to Seattle, Houston only loses to Seattle: Houston 92 wins, Seattle 94 wins, Texas 88 wins. Jays need to go 6-6. C: Seattle goes 4-3 against Texas and wins the rest, Texas wins the rest, Houston only loses to Seattle: Houston 92 wins, Seattle 91 wins, Texas 91 wins. Jays need to go 9-3. D: Texas goes 4-3 against Seattle and wins the rest, Seattle wins the rest, Houston only loses to Seattle: Houston 92 wins, Texas 92 wins, Seattle 90 wins. Jays need to go 8-4. "the rest" for: Texas is BOSx3 and LAAx3 [and SEAx7 of course] Seattle is OAKx3 [and TEXx7 and HOUx3 of course] Houston is BALx3 and KCRx3 and ARZx3 This can just swing in so many different ways. Toronto could be mediocre and sneak in, or they may need to stomp TB and NYY.
