    What can you even criticize this man for at this point? All I can think of is that modern ticket/stadium pricing has made the product less accessible. On the baseball side, you could criticize the team for not being the class of the league in every facet, but not organization is. You could have pointed to fundamental flaws with developing MLB hitters, or instructing MLB hitters, or developing pitchers or finding relievers, a year ago but the 2025 season kind of answered a lot of those concerns as the farm blossomed and the MLB team did as well. I dunno man. We are kind of spoiled. Good organization now, good payroll. Good brand. The main way they screw this up is bad contracts.

    Jays have the 7th best projected bullpen The Varland trade was a big investment and that is probably their one big reliever addition for 2026 right there. He's as good as Suarez. Really no need for a big signing. Just get someone cromulent, proper depth.

    The Braves probably project well, but it's such a risky team. They need to get positive regression from numerous players + have some injury prone guys stay healthy + keep Sale/Schwellenbach/Strider/Reynaldo healthy and productive. Strider got destroyed last year and Schwellenbach had a piece of bone fall off his elbow lol.

    I doubt they would buy high(ish) on a guy who finally broke out as a reliever, just to thrust him back into some kind of swing role If they want Keller I would guess it's just to be a leverage RP My guess is that the Jays are now shifting gears and they will wait for someone to come to them, out of two buckets. Good RP bucket and Good Bat bucket. Bucket 1: Keller, Weaver, Fairbanks, Seranthony, Suarez, etc. Bucket 2: Bo, Bregman, Bellinger, Tucker...

    Moreno: Hasn't been able to stay healthy Hasn't produced more than 2.7 WAR (#1 being a factor) Kirk: Star level 2025 with 4.7 WAR 4+ WAR projection Signed a very team-friendly extension Is only 15 months older than Moreno Fan favourite Oozes soft skills - leadership, handling pitchers, etc. Varsho: 3.1 WAR in 2024 Played like a 4+ WAR player in 2025 (pro-rated) Safe to close the books on this one. Moreno still has his arb years of control with Arizona but the decision to stick with Kirk and the eventual team-friendly extension wipes that out.

    Canada WBC roster taking shape. I saw these players confirmed: Otto Lopez Bo Naylor Josh Naylor Owen Caissie The issue will again be the pitching. If they can't get most of Soroka, Brash, Taillon, Pivetta, Quantrill, Tong, Cade Smith, and Sabrowski and Romano to pitch, it will be rough. Joulien, O'Neill, Denzel Clarke, Toro, Tyler Black, are other active Canadian position players so the offense and defense might be okay. Obviously Freeman and Vlad are there - no idea what their intentions are. I'm probably missing a few guys.

    I know nothing about Spencer Miles but he pitched in the AFL and this does not feel like a "get him on the IL so he can rehab all year" thing. This seems more like a "let's see him in spring he might be a bullpen weapon now" thing Touches 98/99 with a cutter/slider in the low 90s which he doesn't even seem to consider his second best pitch right now 12 Ks, 1 BB, no HR in 8.2 AFL innings I am looking at these pitch grades below and thinking about just scrapping his 4 seamer altogether, and telling him to pitch backwards out of relief.     Agreed but at least with Schwarber you have elite bat speed, elite eye, pull tendencies, and back to back 3.3+ WAR seasons (leading to a 3 win projection) Alonso has slightly worse projections because he hasn't been quite as good recently. His bat is a couple of mph slower. Doesn't have that elite eye, chases more, and relies a bit more on batted balls falling in. Goes oppo maybe too much. I'm not as comfortable with his offensive game - lots of components that could fall off a bit.

    I guess what he is saying is he just thinks Pinango will struggle in MLB Even if he ends up on a team that has a brutal DH/LF projection, he is competing against guys like Endy Rogriguez, Mickey Moniak, Heriberto Hernandez, Jhostnyxon Garcia, Griffin Conine, Adrian Del Castillo, Miguel Vargas, Jordan Beck, Jack Suwinski.
