    Well if he projected for 2 wins he wouldn't cost 2/$15. He'd be getting more than Candelario, not a third of what Candelario got. I'm not expecting 2 wins but it's within the realm of possibilities Expecting more like 1.2 wins in 2/3 of the 3B playing time.

    A plus 3B with decent BsR and an 85 wRC+ could literally be a 2 win player Nothing to sneeze at Go look at Maikel Garcia 2023. Or various Ryan McMahon seasons.

    They make these kinds of depth chart mistakes sometimes Really, the only person on the Jays roster who can play a good 3B is probably IKF. He is on top of that depth chart right now

    Interesting Looks like the Yankees got his maxEV up but not his launch angle 109.6 is still bad but not bottom of the league Better maxEV than Cody Bellinger, lmao He can hit a baseball harder than Danny Jansen. Harder than 2023 Kirk. Even with Biggio. Much better than KK, Espinal, or Whit There's 12+ homers in this useless bat!!!!!

There is a cohort of mostly relief prospects in AA and up with modern pitch mixes and great numbers, they were probably influenced by the facilities and modern training environment Also, the crop of infield prospects that are MLB ready might be part of it. Schneider, Martinez, Barger, Leo Jimenez, Palmegiani...

    7.5m AAV is.... almost nothing Jays are a big market team. That's reliever money. Who cares? They probably think he can be worth 1.5 wins in maybe 450 PA if used correctly.

    Feel like IKF might just be better than Espinal Espy may have been a bit exposed in 2023. Seems like he is actually not that comfortable or effective in a utility role. Defense was not reliable at all. Was replacement level and had a 80 wRC+ last year. Was useless Yeah 2023 IKF was similar but... longer track record of defensive performance

    IKF won't be a starter or pure bench player. Somewhere in between probably. Same as KK.
