  1. Yeah they added the note Didn't adjust the rankings Go check the mlbtr article breaking his shoulder surgery news, Detective Danger
  2. No they don't They ranked him 80th end of January and the shoulder surgery news came out Feb 3rd. They don't update rankings yet. Sorry to burst your bubble
  3. Hey buddy After those rankings, Nikki Frasso had shoulder surgery and hip labrum surgery Yes, the soon to be 26 year old who has never thrown 100 innings and couldn't even stay healthy back in college is having more major surgery Shocking, I know.
  4. I expect you to post dumb s*** at me on purpose I just continue to not understand Carlos. Why does he thank everything that is anti Laika? It is just a freedom convoy alliance or something?
  5. I think he can bang Having someone who can pinch hit for KK could be real nice. Also, can slide into 3B and provide a 100 wRC+ or better....
  6. Yeah I was looking at movement data for comparables. It was a coinflip whether they were labeled FF or SI. Some positive comparables from good relievers. Strahm, Chapman, Alvarado, Gregory Soto. Couple bad comps from starters, Ryan Weathers and Matthew Liberatore, but their velo was a tick lower. I was just eyeballing for plus or better velo, IVB or like 14 to 16, and horizontal break or 12 or more
  7. I think there's a chance. Most teams are set everywhere. Budgets are maxed. Davis has meh projections and some teams probably think he's a 1B/DH
  8. I'd take him on the team at his cost. I feel like he fits the team so much better than Espinal... 3B coverage and some pop.
  9. Jays SP depth suddenly not so suspect Francis - looks good White - looks better Tiedemann - is alive Parsons - may be a bit more than a AAA journeyman? Further down, a couple prospects have had positive showings. Rave reviews for Kendrys Rojas. Ryan Jennings bag of pitches looks sick. Chad Dallas showed an MLB breaking ball at least.
  10. Ah so Espinal's salary is guaranteed. Espinal and Toronto avoided arbitration. Not that it really matters anymore. Releasing him to save $2.5M was only a hypothetical thing after a Chapman signing
  11. Yeah it's GOOD, it just might be a vulnerability in specific places against righties as the horizontal movement is not as helpful. He should be complete death to LHB though
  12. I'm a bit weirded out with Tiedeman's fastball shape. 14.7 IVB with -13 horizontal break. It's got two seamer run but average four seamer rise. Is that good or bad? Is that weird? Feels like something RHB will smash in certain locations Kinda hoping his release point was off today and it his slightly different movement normally
  13. He can probably be a setup man on this profile But, walks maybe an issue.
  14. Interesting Need to check out the FB shape and compare it to some other good lefties
  15. I guess the main concern aside from durability is fastball shape Hopefully we get some stuff+ type data this spring on him
  16. I think Mead and Caminero are just better hitters though, they should probably get those PAs Of course the Rays will option everyone they can and stash their veterans as long as possible
  17. I get the decision but I'm not even sure he's more than a 50% player in Tampa. Paredes 3B, Lowe strong side platoon 2B, Cabalerro defensive specialist at SS which Rosario might not even be able to play anymore... where is he playing? I guess 1/3 of the time at 2B and then picks up sporadic starts against RHP at 3B or LF if they want to give Siri or Arozarena or Paredes a break? Caminero and Mead and sleeper Richie Palacios are also lurking so he won't have any rope at all. NYY on the other hand, he would have less playing time out of the gates but much less season long competition and if one player like DJLM sucks or dies he's a starter.
  18. mlbtr notes Amed Rosario was offered $4M from NYY but took less to get playing time in TB Jays offered Chapman some form of 2 year deal at the end but his first choice was to go to SFG anyway (Heyman)
  19. Has to be IMO But if Schneider is bad for like, the first 3 weeks...
  20. Nah it's a battle 3B and 2B are subject to change rapidly
  21. Wow, exciting. Possible opening day lineup in front of Tiedemann (get DS in there instead of Twiggio though)
  22. Lukes turns 30 in July, lol He must do something better than we think to still be kicking around. Maybe he's actually a good defender or something
