  1. Look at these breaking balls
  2. Just assign the W to the pitcher with the highest WPA in the game, on the team that won. Same for the L. Also, add a new stat - hitter wins and losses. Basically just translates WPA, a stupid nerd stat that only f***ing nerds care about, into a classic man stat with hair on its chest that any steak eating American can wrap their tough head around. Wins last night: Varsho, Cease Losses: Brooks, Simpson flawless stat
  3. It happens if your team, say, takes the lead for good in the first inning but the SP only goes 3 innings.
  4. Great to see King throw five innings
  5. I mean when your stuff is bad and you are up against a nervous group of hackers, it makes sense. He probably locks it down with that pitch chart if he doesn't have to face Vlad and Kaz who were/are more patient. Sosa and Clement are certainly slapping something at their eyeballs in play and Varsho was close to striking out (Brooks just didn't get the high FB inside enough). Straw probably pulls a 310 foot flyball on a high fastball.
  6. A-a-ron Brooks threw one strike in 17 pitches
  7. Challenging strike calls is for weak hitters. Catchers and communists, guys with ponytails, etc.
  8. I mean it wasn't much of a fastball but still
  9. It is embarrassing. Dude can't hold a runner to save his life and is also hanging every other slider.
  10. Looking forward to a Vlad sac fly and a 3-2 loss
  11. Brandon Valenzuela is a dangerous hitter Anyway, this one is over because Simpson is on second and stupid Jeff it pitching
  12. I guess. And or the ball just isn't flying in the dome yet. Maybe 20 degrees is just barely not enough for good flight
  13. Should we add a one point nobody option? Or is that too easy
  14. Volpe called up, Fried TJS immediately This is causal
  15. Queue the annual Yankees collapse
