    Just assign the W to the pitcher with the highest WPA in the game, on the team that won. Same for the L. Also, add a new stat - hitter wins and losses. Basically just translates WPA, a stupid nerd stat that only f***ing nerds care about, into a classic man stat with hair on its chest that any steak eating American can wrap their tough head around.     I mean when your stuff is bad and you are up against a nervous group of hackers, it makes sense. He probably locks it down with that pitch chart if he doesn't have to face Vlad and Kaz who were/are more patient. Sosa and Clement are certainly slapping something at their eyeballs in play and Varsho was close to striking out (Brooks just didn't get the high FB inside enough). Straw probably pulls a 310 foot flyball on a high fastball.
