  1. If it was up to me: Revere would be traded. We could probably get similar pruduction from Pompey/Saunders and put Revere's 6.5 million to better use. Sanchez and Osuna would both be starting in AAA. Bullpen would be Cecil, Hendriks, Lowe, Loup, and a couple cheap FA's or waiver claims. I would be signing 2 starters. Lackey, Iwakuma, Kazmir, Anderson, Chen, etc. are all great options. And that's it.
  2. Sure. The signing was decent at the time
  3. I loved Shapiro's comments about building a balanced team. A team that is top 5 in runs scored and top 5 in runs prevented is better than a team that is #1 in runs scored and 12th in runs prevented. The jays scored over 100 runs MORE than the 2nd best offense in baseball. We can afford to trade 1 of our big bats IMO.
  4. Even if we trade one lf Bautista/Edwin we would still probably have the best offense in baseball.
  5. Oh god. Rizzo what are you doing
  6. He'll probably be worth every penny
  7. But Rogers is a billion dollar company... Wah wah wah.
  8. You do if you replace him with a .750 ops bat and a good starting pitcher, plus a decent prospect on the side.
  9. Completely baseless speculation
  10. Just realized that the official timestamps for forum posts are ahead an hour... Admin please adjust?
  11. Yikes. My refund was fine. Went through like 5 days ago.
  12. I think Shapiro is going to bring in someone he likes. So no, Gibby will not be manager in 2016.
  13. Disgusting baseball from the Mets
  14. Not sure why pitchers keep throwing Escobar anything to hit... The dude is not going to walk. 4% career walk rate... He should not be getting any pitches to hit.
  15. Well at least we can say we got beat by the WS champs
  16. Yeah he's dumb but he doesn't seem like a bad guy
  17. I think he's bounced every single throw to second base. Dude has a noodle arm. Royals are running rampant off of him
  18. I think they learned from their mistake in game 7 last year against Bumgarner. Gordon should have gone home on that error in the 9th
  19. Hoping the Mets can walk this off so we get another game on Tuesday
  20. And that changes how you throw the ball? No excuse from Duda there. That was a terrible throw.
  21. I find it crazy how bad some of these throws are. You're a professional BASEBALL PLAYER AND YOU CANT THROW THE BALL TO YOUR CATCHER 90 FEET AWAY???? Duda...
  22. Harvey f***ing carving through the Royals tonight
