  1. Some of those statements are just slightly outrageous
  2. How did I know you were gonna say Tulo before even clicking on the thread? Jesus, so many people here don't understand how good Tulo can be with the bat. This js like the Edwin situation all over again. Trade the slumping bat right? Anyways, IMO Tulo/Donaldson/Martin are the least likely to be traded, only for the fact that they all provide defensive value in addition to their bats.
  3. Indecent exposure could mean anything.
  4. I'd offer Goins, Colabello, Revere, and their choice between Kawasaki or Diaz. Not sure if that's an overpay though.
  5. Still crazy to see that Pillar put up 4.3 WAR last year. Before this season, I don't think any of us expected him to top 2 WAR.
  6. Ang banned?
  7. Wow... I would never have thought Reyes would do something like that... He seemed like a good guy. This is unfortunate. Too many athletes can't control their anger
  8. Compare the 2016 projections
  9. He hasn't been in his career. I guess you could make the argument that he projects better, for some reason. I mean he's obviously better than Howard going forward.
  10. Alvarez is a better hitter than all of those guys.
  11. I've been thinking about Pedro Alvarez for a while... If he comes on a 1-2 year deal and strictly DHs, he could be valuable. He's a monster LH bat, and would be nice in the 5/6 spot. Would replace some power lost with the departure of EE/Jose.
  12. Oh gruber... Never change man
  13. Also sounds like a guy you would want to hold on to.
  14. If it was up to me: Revere would be traded. We could probably get similar pruduction from Pompey/Saunders and put Revere's 6.5 million to better use. Sanchez and Osuna would both be starting in AAA. Bullpen would be Cecil, Hendriks, Lowe, Loup, and a couple cheap FA's or waiver claims. I would be signing 2 starters. Lackey, Iwakuma, Kazmir, Anderson, Chen, etc. are all great options. And that's it.
  15. Sure. The signing was decent at the time
  16. I loved Shapiro's comments about building a balanced team. A team that is top 5 in runs scored and top 5 in runs prevented is better than a team that is #1 in runs scored and 12th in runs prevented. The jays scored over 100 runs MORE than the 2nd best offense in baseball. We can afford to trade 1 of our big bats IMO.
  17. Even if we trade one lf Bautista/Edwin we would still probably have the best offense in baseball.
  18. Oh god. Rizzo what are you doing
  19. He'll probably be worth every penny
  20. But Rogers is a billion dollar company... Wah wah wah.
  21. You do if you replace him with a .750 ops bat and a good starting pitcher, plus a decent prospect on the side.
