    I disagree with you guys. Wildcard SHOULD be a 1 game tiebreaker-style elimination. Gives everyone extra incentive to push hard for winning the division.

    Yeah i'll be there tomorrow night. I decided to just go with 500s tickets for the playoffs this year (since I won't be selling a bunch to cover the cost). Really hoping they can pull out a win. I'd love to see them celebrate on the field. If I have to watch the Orioles celebrate, i'll puke.

Look at it this way: if someone had asked you 200 days ago whether you'd start Sanchez in a WC game, you'd have punched him in the spine, laughed heartily, then punched him in the spine again. If you deny that, then you're suffering from revisionist history to an absurd degree. You would never have considered Sanchez 200 days ago. No one would have.

    Helps if they have to pinch run for Martin, then pinch hit/run later on for Navarro. But yeah that's a rare circumstance that would only really occur if there was extra innings.
