    The mistake you're making is that you are assuming this is how the majority of MLB front offices operate. Not the case. There would be several GMs that would sign Tulo and hope he bounces back offensively (which he has done the last few months). A lot of teams would be in on Tulo just because of his name.

    I feel like you really don't understand the free agent market. I remember you saying that Reddick could probably get close to 100 million. Yet you think Tulo would only get 50? I think you're way off here. If Tulo was a free agent this offseason, he would at least get a Hanley Ramirez type contract. I don't think Reddick gets a deal higher than 60 million.
