    It was nice being able to access every MLB game instantly on my phone from 1 app, until the blackout restrictions. It just takes more steps now. It is what it is.

    Like every person living in Canada? Yeah it f***ing sucks that I have to use my parents bell fibe sign-in just to watch the Jays. We had it good with MLB.tv as Jays fans for quite a while… no longer

    So the owners were going to reject this proposal either way. Seems to me that owners want 14 or its a hard no deal

    A lot of guys were also out of shape after being off for 3 entire months. This isn’t the same situation

    I don’t think the players agreed/stated any of this. It was the owners that decided to cancel games prematurely

    Yeah I agree this is it. Owners don’t give a s*** about April and I believe they had always planned to punt the first month to put massive pressure on the players union to accept a favorable deal.

    If you’re on the owners side over the players, I ask you this: Why did the owners feel the need to start canceling games already? There’s 30 days till opening day… Very scummy. f*** the owners

    The players refused mediation because it just slows things down and doesn’t even work. Read about the 1994 strike. Mediation was a bs offer by the owners to try and look good in the press, seems like it worked on some people.

    As someone else pointed out it the comments, this is likely due to the lockout. Makes sense, if he’s employed by a team then he’s currently not allowed to work with any MLBPA members, which would include Bo. So Dante quits so he can train with Bo, Jays sign him back on after the lockout.

    Probably closer to 3 months from spring training at this point

    After learning just how much of a massive POS he is I don’t feel so bad about him missing the hall. Obviously he should be in based on his numbers alone but the HoF is clearly not just about numbers. It is what it is.

    Lol. Ok so lets say by 2025 they get a new stadium. Maybe. How many years of poor attendance before they finally decide to relocate? 5 years after that? 2025 - new stadium opens 2030 - team moves cities Sounds like a great waste of time, resources and money.

    And to think, he really only spent the time searching through old footage for trash can banging because he is a salty Yankees fan. If Jomboy was a Cardinals fan, does he even bother putting so much time into the investigation and do the Astros even get caught/punished??

    Honestly its seems like it was actually good for him that he came up in 2019 and DIDN’T set the league on fire… he was always the best hitter on the field at every level throughout his life and that completely changed in 2019. And IMO he gets a pass for 2020, it was the pandemic and nobody knew when the season would actually start. Looks like he definitely wants to put in the work to remain in the top echelon of current MLB hitters

    Good points yeah, this system likely wouldn’t do anything to fix the problem. And im not really sure there IS a way to fix the problem
