Tucker/Bo move the needle far more than any RP signing would. The bullpen is fine. As of now, we have a Bo-sized hole in the lineup, and room either at 2B/3B/OF to add someone. Bo or Tucker is a must IMO, or at the very least Bellinger

I agree with the idea of not spending big money on RP. But what exactly are you considering “truly elite”, because Suarez is definitely up there and has more saves than anyone over the last 2 seasons. This is RP stats for 2024+2025

Both the Schwarber and Alonso deals are insane IMO. Makes you really appreciate Santander’s deal if he can just return to form. Hoping to see a Bo/Springer type bounce back from Tony.

I would have welcomed him back before the Ponce signing. Now he doesn’t fit on this roster -
Yeah this whole Bassitt/Scherzer thing is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. If we are dumping Berrios to save some money, we arent then turning around and giving that money right back to Bassitt who could fall off a cliff at any moment.

Santander fits on this roster as an OF for 2026 and a DH going forward. Springer may not be any good next year anyways and he’s gone after 2026. Not hard to understand.
