  1. Syndergaard might be available… hehe
  2. Yup split the series 2-2 when really they could have (should have?) lost all 4
  3. Big brawl between Angels/Mariners after Jesse Winker was hit with a pitch
  4. 40-32 record, well within a playoff spot, fangraphs odds of making the playoffs over 90% still. All this despite the team playing terribly through a few stretches and half the rotation severely underperforming EDIT: and having one of the toughest strength of schedule
  5. Espinal regressed hard
  6. Yeah the media is all hesitant to say it, but he’s likely done. Wouldn’t be surprised if he chose to go back to Korea for his final few years
  7. Fangraphs still has the Jays at 94.8% to make the playoffs. After today probably like 93ish % Definitely looks bleak right now but there’s lots of ball to play and trades to be made
  8. Yimi Garcia? He’s been fine and his salary is peanuts
  9. Maybe it’ll actually help if he’s fired. Didn’t the Yankees fire their pitching coach in the offseason? Their rotation immediately became one of the best in baseball overnight. Pen was solid last year and still is.
  10. Lol that’s every team though. Didn’t we hear about how Giolito “tweaked” his delivery before his start against the jays last week?
  11. Im not offended by this thread lol, just don’t agree with digging up every old thread to dunk on people after a player has a few bad outings. Idk about you, but I WANT Kikuchi to pitch well, because it would be good for the team. He’s shown flashes of brilliance this year but I agree he’s probably a wash for this season. Hoping he comes back better next year. I was also hopeful about Roark…. But hey I don’t like to sit and complain about every problem with the team. Try to be optimistic maybe.
  12. Agree, if the playoffs are missed there need to be several firings
  13. Ok but he was still great against teams like the Yankees and Sox last year with us
  14. Can’t really do much about Berrios, he’s signed here long term and he has a track record of being good. Gotta just hope he turns it around
  15. Yeah its crazy, Berrios is arguably one of the most consistent pitchers in baseball over the past 4 seasons. And he’s young, not like he’s past his prime.
  16. He pitched great for us last year and immediately after signing the extension he’s sucked balls
  17. 7. Jose Berrios Signed a 7 year extension and immediately turned into a bumpkin
  18. How is he THIS bad, it’s unreal
  19. Its head scratching for sure. Like he completely forgot how to pitch
  20. Yeah I agree with this. I don’t think he’ll be this bad going forward but he’s definitely not a #1 pitcher on any team.
  21. Where’s all the people that claimed Berrios was an ace??
  22. Trading one of the only LH bats in the organization doesn’t seem like a great plan unless they plan on replacing him with someone better
  23. At least Zimmer hasn’t gotten a start in quite a while
