I’m not about to write off the contract in year 1, Berrios has a several season long track record of being good.
Obviously bad year so far, but he’s 27 and I don’t think its crazy to say he’ll stabilize back to career norms
I don’t understand how/why Berrios gets hammered like this. The stuff is good is it not? And he has a long track record of success but he’s been pretty damn bad this year outside of a few good starts
Yeah the front office seems extremely reluctant to finally give up on their reclamation projects/bullpen guys. Every year its someone else.
This year its been: Tapia, Zimmer, Borucki, Richards. We’ll see how much rope guys like Thornton and Castillo get. Way too much play time from these scrubs though
Seattle fans are saying he’s always been like this. Super good one start, looks like he can barely get an out the next start. Wildly inconsistent week to week.
5th starter material if he limits the bad starts a slight bit more. Although I agree with the other comments that we can’t really have Stripling AND Kikuchi in the rotation for the rest of the year.
Surprise surprise, MLB has been having an orgasm over the Mets and Yanks playing so well.
I also don’t see much about the Braves’ 14 game win streak. (At least not on Instagram/Facebook)
Generally I agree, but they have had a couple success stories. Romano, Ray, Manoah, Mayza somewhat…
There’s been way more failures though. Borucki, Thornton, Pearson, Zeuch, etc
