Kind of shocking that a front office that seems to value defense and contact so highly is choosing to run out a guy like Sanchez in the OF almost daily.
Its just hard not to see from the outside that injuries have really hampered both Vlad and Springer to the point they are essentially unplayable/hurting the lineup.
Team would have been better off if they had gone to the DL for an appropriate period of time to heal from their injuries. Instead they have had lingering issues for majority of the year.
Both Springer and Vlad have been unbelievably bad for the majority of the year.
Not sure why the front office is so hesitant to DL these guys when its clearly been necessary at several points throughout the season.
There’s literally only 5 teams in the AL with a record over .500 right now. 5 out of 15.
Its an extreme outlier year and wouldn’t expect this jays team to be in contention in any other year.
Even under the old playoff system you’d have a team like the 63-60 Astros winning their division
Realistically, playing a injured limping Bo probably cost us the WS. He kept getting subbed out by IKF and his spot came up several times in key spots in several games.
If Bo was going to play, he should’ve been good for 8-9 innings.
Loll. Im so annoyed by this organizational philosophy of contact over power. It has only worked 1 of the 4 years they’ve shifted to this. Trying to find a market inefficiency that isn’t there.
Yeah he got hit really hard right in the face, i was expecting concussion DL after seeing the play.
Lets hope that doesn’t continue to have lingering effects throughout his career…
