    The most extreme arm surgeries don’t take more than 6 months to fully heal for a position player. Not the same as a pitcher getting TJs and missing a year. He should be ready for spring assuming there are no complications.

    Friendly reminder that Kirk’s rookie season was nearly identical to Valenzuela’s, and he was 3 years younger If you can get a good controllable piece for BV you definitely consider it, good D catchers are a dime a dozen.

    Quite a bit of money off the books this offseason, im confident the FO will be able to plug most holes. Although the biggest wildcard is our 37mil per season 1B, he needs to turn it around for us to have any kind of chance. Springer - 25mil Gausman - 22mil Bieber - 11mil Varsho - 11mil Garcia - 7.5mil Straw - 6mil Scherzer - 3mil Obviously gonna be some raises, but we will have lots of money to work with

    I guess that’s what happen in a year you expect to compete and every player ends up playing like s***. You end up being a seller with no good pieces lol. Just further proof of how s*** the team has played this year

I don’t think he’s ever sniffing his rookie numbers, the contract is terrible if he’s not at least giving us 90ish wRC+ 20 million a year for 2 WAR exclusively with the glove is laughable Hopefully FO doesn’t fall into the same trap trying to extend Varsho
