    It was quite literally almost a perfect season + postseason run. - Win the division on the last day of the season, sweeping the Rays - Destroy the Yankees in the DS - Take down a very tough Mariners team after being down 2-0 - ALMOST took down the Juggernaut Dodgers - Franchise player pops off and puts up video game numbers for the entire month of October - Our Ace Gausman shoves pretty much every postseason start - Young rookie Yesavage dominates 3 elite offenses multiple times - Old vet Springer hits the 2nd most important homer in franchise history to send us to the WS - Old man Mad Max turns the clock back one last time - Bichette comes back from injury and has a cinderella moment in game 7 Still sucks so bad that we couldn’t finish the job. But as far as storylines/seasons can go, thats about as good as it gets.

    If it was a no-doubter like Oka’s, then yeah fine. But that ball had a decent chance of banging off the top of the wall. Pretty much like his last hit being the double that barely missed, and he needed to hustle hard to get to 2nd. Idk i just wish the dude would play a bit smarter. Read the room. Learn from past mistakes.

    Jays still have 3 against the Rangers though which is nice. Absolutely need 2/3 or even a sweep there. Just need to play good ball, and hope that the Whitesox and Guards don’t both play well

    I think it’s generally better for us if the White Sox sweep that series. Gets a bit dicey if we are battling Chisox and Rangers for the last wildcard

    Nice win but just gotta say… Vladdy standing to watch his wallscraper homerun is everything that’s wrong with this team right now. Dude needs to make sure he gets to 2nd on that play no matter what. Too much stupidity for me to see any kind of playoff run from this team

    Vlad should honestly be too embarrassed to even show his face at the dome. Should just pull a Ketel Marte and takr a week off for fun. I guess its all fine though because at least he has god on his side

    Kinda wild that a team that values defense so highly decided to give up multiple years of Loperfido for Sanchez. I know the stats at the time didn’t show Sanchez as a bad defender, but you watch the guy and its clear. These things don’t happen overnight. You can see the dude has no instincts out there. Its like, early Jo Adell bad. Derek Fisher bad. Edwin at 3B bad. And hold on for so long too? This front office confuses me at times.

    Gotta feel like Vlad has also been injured for months and probably should’ve been DL’d way back Ohtani’s stretch of being “ass” is still better numbers than Vlad has put up for majority of the season lol

    I’d still be highly surprised if any team makes the playoffs with a .500 record. When all is said and done IMO it will take 82/83 wins for the WC3 spot this year.

    Doesn’t really explain the quantity of mental mistakes we’ve witnessed this season. It wasn’t even close to this bad last year, and its not even the new guys that are the issue. Well… Sanchez. But the rest is just dumb mistakes from guys like Vlad, Gimenez, Springer, Ernie, etc.
