    They might just opt to keep Springer in RF and have Merrifield play CF. Also, it would really be nice if Springer played LF and Gurriel moved over to RF. It just makes more sense with their arms

    The only difference I see really is that Bo isn’t one of the guys constantly clowning around like Vlad/Gurriel/Springer/Teo/etc. Definitely takes things more seriously.

    I suppose. They’d have to be careful for 2024 though and probably bust their ass getting back under the threshold. Vlad + Bo will be more expensive and we’ll have a 3B, LF and CF to replace.

    Im not sure why people keep saying this, you are taxed an extra % of all money over the threshold. So yes there is a difference in going 1 million over vs 20 million over.     3B for sure is at least above average. DH counts because it will be a lot of Kirk there. LF probably slightly above average. You’re underselling dude. Just go check fangraphs wRC+ and compare to other teams. Jays are top 10 offense easily, likely top 5ish.

    With his health problems, it might be better if he only plays 80-90% of games anyways. Idk I think if the money is there, he’ll sign.

    Agreed. Promise Conforto the everday job in LF/RF and work out the other guys around him. Springer in CF some days with Conforto/Gurriel at the corners

    KK doesn’t care about the turf, he played in Tampa for his entire career. Plus he owns a house in Florida so wanted to stay in the east. Perfect scenario for us really
