  1. I don’t think Mitch White starts 20 games next season, but even if he does his projections are actually decent. We have Kikuchi, White, Zulu, possibly Tiedeman and Ryu ready mid-late season, possible mid-season trade acquisition. The rotation was more questionable/weaker at the start of 2022 than it is now.
  2. Berrios had negative WAR last year but I don’t expect either of them to be as bad in 2023. Projections see them rebounding.
  3. I could see Mets, could see a team like the Os or Redsox giving him a shot too. Rays maybe if he’s cheap. Angels probably SHOULD take a flier on him. Houston maybe?
  4. 1. I don’t think you can call Correa “one of the best defensive shortstops in baseball” any longer… 2. Have you heard of Francisco Lindor?? He’s a pretty damn good defender 3. Nobody forced Correa to sign with the Mets and switch positions??
  5. The Rays let Ryan Yarbrough start 30 games over the past 2 seasons.
  6. That’s totally fine, I don’t understand why so many people are up in arms about Kikuchi/White being the #5 to start the season.
  7. We have 1 outfielder signed past 2023, we have 4 rotation spots locked for the next several years. We can survive without another OF acquisition this year but absolutely need 2 new guys once 2024 rolls around. That being said im still not sure i’d give up Tiedeman for Reynolds… idk maybe. We said the same s*** about Pearson a couple years back. Prospects are prospects.
  8. Why do the Yankees have to ruin everything
  9. Such and odd move for the O’s, why not just sign some s***** vet for cheaper
  10. I’d do it. Sending them to AZ at least won’t feel bad because they suck. Much preferable than sending Kirk/Moreno somewhere in the AL
  11. Boy is it different these days
  12. Idk if you’re aware of the housing market these days but having an inspection as part of the deal usually means you won’t get the house. Plenty of people in line willing to do a blind deal with no conditions
  13. Yeah I agree on this
  14. Yeah this could be the jist of it too
  15. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Zaidi out sometime during 2023 (either before or after the season)
  16. This. An MLB-ready lefty OF or close to ready OF prospect would be acceptable IMO. Need outfielders this season and beyond
  17. I like it, good for him. Judge honestly seems like a good guy, not a full of himself douche like Jeter
  18. Same. Just want to see Cohen to throw a hissy fit and whine on Twitter. You can’t just buy championships these days
  19. Yes I am wondering if this is the case
  20. Honestly expecting Zaidi to step away/go to another team either this year or next. That Correa contract seemed like a huge mistep and I feel shows a disconnect between ownership and FO. Or Correa’s body is actually f***ed and Cohen is just a dumbass
  21. He has a stronger arm than Lindor/McNeil so it makes most sense to put him at 3rd
  22. Holy s*** lol
  23. Gurriel has been here for years. He’s gotta be the longest-tenured player on the team at this point I think?
