    Im not sure how you can say Bo has a lower floor when he’s had at least 4 WAR every season (or been on pace for) since he came up. Vlad has exactly 1 season over 3 WAR.

    Apparently more that Click and Jim Crane didn’t get along. Crane vetoed an alleged Urquidy for Contreras trade at the deadline. They apparently disagreed on the Verlander signing. So yeah just a matter of GM and Owner not seeing eye to eye. Click was gone either way, just happens that they won this year so it looks bad.

    Thats not at all what he said you guys are twisting it… All he did was say Braves are thinking of moving Acuna, and similarly the Jays may think of moving a young superstar in Bichette. But he never said Bichette FOR Acuna. Unless I am missing a part of the video

    Its worth giving him 1 more shot in the rotation, see if they can fix the mechanics/mental issues in spring training. He’s got 2 years left. I’d give him until May in the rotation, if he looks like crap then he’s in the bullpen for the rest of the contract.

    Yup. If you believe those projections to be accurate, you have to hold onto Kirk. Expecting a 20 point jump in wRC+ seems extremely bullish and I doubt many teams would value him THAT highly.

    Also to be fair, it looks like Garcia’s projections are a bit light?? Kirk’s are pretty crazy optimistic

    Well actually the Astros have been worried about Defense only at the catcher position, they probably wouldn’t give up anything for a guy like Kirk or Moreno. Its easy to sign a glove-first noodle bat catcher in free agency on the cheap

    I agree, but to be fair upgrading SS would mean upgrading 2B also, since Bo would be moving there. But maybe Whit can cover that next year. Clear upgrades to made to the pitching staff and in the OF imo.
