  1. Maybe they’re just planning to move Moreno back to the infield. Chapman will be gone next year and 2B is kinda open too.
  2. Yeah that’s a giant IF. More than likely Bellinger is cooked. How many players were absolute s*** at the plate for 2 full seasons and then regained their form?? Pujols in a platoon role?
  3. Yeah I like that much better than a 2 year deal
  4. Might have to just wait for a potential deadline deal… or spring training injury
  5. I’d rather have the switch hitter… Why is every single one of our highly ranked prospects a RHH
  6. AA sweet talked the s*** outta them. Actually, didn’t they get more of a haul in the Olson trade??? I just don’t understand why the Brewers were involved in this trade at all.
  7. Also realizing this is the second time AA has f***ed the Athletics HARD in a trade. First Donaldson now Murphy. What the hell is that A’s front office thinking??
  8. The Brewers REALLY came out on top here damn
  9. Kirk for Kwan (maybe some lesser pieces added on either side) could be interesting
  10. Kirk has 4 years remaining, not 5. Unless I am reading things wrong
  11. We also have Kikuchi and White… I think people are setting their expectations a bit too high. We’re paying 4 starters 20 million each this year (one on the DL), and we also have a young top 3 Cy finisher. Kikuchi should be perfectly fine as 5th starter as long as he doesn’t walk 3 batters per inning. And White is better than people give him credit for IMO. He’s a guy like Stripling that could become good with some small tweaks to his pitch sequencing.
  12. Im still holding out hope for a big OF trade involving one of the catchers. Would be nice to have another OF spot locked up for a few years. 2024 and beyond it’s literally just Springer
  13. This is a much better SP acquisition than I was expecting. Bassit basically replaces Ryu in the rotation + same salary. Good job Ross. If Berrios bounces back to career norms, the rotation actually looks solid. Coin flip the 5th spot with White/Ryu/Kikuchi/AAA
  14. How do they consistently make s***** trades while dealing stars at least once per year? Its insanity.
  15. Yeah this basically means the Jays own the catching market right now, with teams like the Astros/Cleveland/Cubs looking to add
  16. Niceeee Suck it everyone complaining about no moves. Lots of offseason left
  17. Yeha I remember hearing the Braves pop up in Murphy discussions and thought it was extremely odd
  18. A bit fluky??? How many wins did they have the previous and following years?? 2021 was extremely lucky for them. Hoping for perfect health and for all your declining overpaid vets to have bounceback seasons is not a model for success.
  19. This would have been a nice deal for Ross to pull off. Inflated ERA last year compared to his FIP/xFIP, but The stats still seem ok. Better track record than Kikuchi and a cheaper contract…
  20. It was reported that KK chose Toronto because he has a house in Tampa and preferred to stay in the ALE
  21. Really really hoping for one of those guys to get signed. We need a lefty bat that isn’t useless
  22. The offseason isn’t even half over yet
  23. That would be excellent tbh. Seems too good to be true
  24. We don’t use bWAR around here
  25. Oooh, spicy prediction
