  1. Jesus Christ
  2. Yeah for sure but that gamble is not worth 17 million to me
  3. Yeah that’s too much IMO. Extremely possible he’s below 100 wRC+ and replacement level
  4. Not really sure why they would want Murphy for their current competitive window… send them Kirk instead
  5. If he has that little faith in himself, he should probably just retire. Besides, if he’s THAT bad that we would consider benching him he won’t be getting any offers for 2024
  6. Now the bar fights make sense
  7. Just repeat that again. But seriously, they hold the cards here and if they don’t get a haul they probably hold onto him.
  8. How about 10 million bonus for top 5 MVP voting
  9. Or Bo still runs into KK because he’s a dummy/doesn’t hear the call off. Springer was calling for it
  10. Yeah 20 million is way way too much for Bellinger
  11. Ok so by this logic, Aaron Judge shouldn’t get over 100 mil. His playoff numbers the last few years have been bad
  12. Jays weren’t in the playoffs the last two years. Try again
  13. Yes of course, but his price will be that of a 6 WAR player… is it worth it? That’s the question
  14. Its clear you don't watch the MLB playoffs, because random bad bat guys like Keirmaier become heroes extremely often. See: Jeremy Pena, Yuli Gurriel, Harrison Bader, Martin Maldonado, Trent Grisham, etc. And those are just from 2022
  15. Yeah I kinda feel like he won't get traded. Pirates see his value as a 6 WAR player and most other teams likely don't. The price will be astronomical and teams won't be willing to pay.
  16. Near his family, back with Bryce and Kevin Long, same division he was used to playing in with the Nats. Must have liked it better in the NLE. Makes sense. The money was probably so close that its a wash.
  17. Yeah lol. Maybe not to other teams though?? Who tf knows. I’d be fine trading Martinez for Reynolds but iffy about Tiedeman
  18. They were close on Cole allegedly. You could argue he was that calibre as a free agent. They pivoted to Ryu
  19. 1 bad year. We’ll see how it turns out but literally everyone was happy with the deal at the time.
  20. Its not gonna be less than Kikuchi. Probably closer to 3/50
  21. Bryce/Trea reunion in Philly. Poor Nats fans
