  1. I'm taking that attitude towards my bullpen.
  2. 8 SPs seems like plenty, I'd probably care more about getting some bench depth.
  3. It's nice to have an MLB ready 3B you can promote as soon as the season starts.
  4. Technically you could stash him until the summer if you wanted to, but that strategy seems best if you want to compete this year.
  5. BP says we have a top half farm too, FWIW.
  6. I really don't see how we're below the Yankees.
  7. Puig, for example, can be kept on your MiLB roster through this cutdown, but as soon as he reaches 500 PAs, he needs to be promoted prior to the next cut (ie the summer draft). If I were you I'd probably call up Puig immediately after the Waiver Draft.
  8. Yes. If a prospect is over the PA/IP limit, they must be removed at the next cut date, otherwise they can be taken in the waiver draft, or picked up as a free agent.
  9. Anybody feel like making any cuts? I have the spreadsheet open to process Boxy's acquisition of ace Yusmeiro Petit.
  10. Don't you have Santana on your trade block?
  11. On Sano: "Sano is going to struggle (as he did) against better arms. His hit tool will be enough for the power to play, but I'm not sold that his power will play to full potential. He could still end up hitting 30+ bombs, but the power will likely come at the expense of consistent contact. He's still in the top 20 prospects in the game (in an absolutely loaded class), and even though he has weaknesses in his game, the power is so good that it justifies such a high rank. I can't see ranking him in the top 5, though. Too many questions about the hit tool and defensive profile to go that crazy."
  12. Also, K'ing at 28% is definitely a concern, regardless of age. I do think Sano is too low, but it may be justifiable if you knew for certain that he's about to lose a year of development to TJS. I'm sure Parks will address it in the chat today.
  13. I'd take Giolito and Gray over Taillon all day. Ventura is iffy, but people underrate him. He has knockout stuff.
  14. Lol Sickels. Sickels is the one making a list based on his own observations. Parks is MUCH more well-connected.
  15. You clearly don't know s*** about Parks or BP. He has a vast network of team scouts and front office types that he talks to and runs his rankings by.
  16. Keep in mind that Jason Parks values defense very highly, and these are not fantasy rankings. As such, guys like Lindor, Hedges, and Almora are rated higher than they would be for dynasty purposes.
  17. So I traded two Top 15 prospects for James Shields? That one may come back to bite me.
  18. I actually consider my pennant a shameful reminder of when my team didn't make it to the finals.
  19. You are indeed the favourite to win that weak-ass division.
  20. Hey everyone! Pablo Sandoval is only kinda fat again! #careeryear http://Http://instagram.com/p/jMyBYitCIm/
  21. Ortiz is probably the better asset this year, but you'll probably get 3-4 more years out of One Nut.
  22. I also got Marco Gonzales out of that deal via Erlin. He'll be a Top 100 prospect by midseason.
  23. So Boxy could have had Justin Upton if he'd refrained from giving away Delino Deshields? (Who is a 4th OF at best, I might add)
  24. Yeah but then you traded two Top 30 prospects for Delino Deshields.
