  1. Agreed. Gentry is a better real life player. He's a platoon guy, offensively.
  2. My situation exactly. Not buying one until they do something significant.
  3. Same here. I can't wait to input all the rosters.
  4. Several major league teams have assessed him as being inadequate at the position, you should probably go with that over DRS.
  5. I actually wouldn't, because in no way is Bonifacio a passable infielder.
  6. Huh? He has a career HR/9 north of 1.2 playing mostly in a park with similar effects as RC. I don't think it's any stretch to assume you would see a similar HR rate here.
  7. And actually, Capuano has a career 1.37 HR/9 on the road, compared to just 1.10 at home. So it's definitely not just Milwaukee to blame, the guy is prone to the gopher ball.
  8. He gave up a lot of HRs at Citi Field and Chavez Ravine, so I don't think it's just a Milwaukee thing. Besides which, Rogers Centre is a launching pad.
  9. The one with Drew. I don't get the obsession with acquiring a mediocre platoon bat.
  10. 41.2% for his career is well below average. HR/9 and HR/FB above average also.
  11. Capuano is a good value guy but I think he's better suited to the NL or maybe Anaheim. He's a bit homer-prone and a fly ball guy, so I worry he'd get lit up here.
  12. I would gladly give AJ $16 or $17M on a one year deal, that's a lot more appealing than Ubaldo at $15M x 4 years (although I'd still take Ubaldo over Santana if we can't get Burnett).
  13. We'd have to put the most money on the table, that's for sure.
  14. From Rotoworld: According to TSN.ca, the Blue Jays could be contemplating a reunion with free agent hurler A.J. Burnett. The 37-year-old right-hander recently decided that he's planning to return for a 16th season, and he has generated significant interest from around the league. He previously pitched in Toronto from 2006-2008 where he posted a 3.94 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 525/191 K/BB ratio over 522 2/3 innings. For fantasy purposes, his value would take a big hit with a potential move to the American League East. -- Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease let this happen.
  15. I processed those cuts for you. You'll need to clear 4 more before the deadline.
  16. I would love to get Fisted, but I'm sure that goes for all of us. Hopefully you get a better package than Dumbrowski.
  17. You are a dick. I don't know where you're looking, but it's been processed in the master spreadsheet.
  18. You named names! Now YOU on our list!
  19. Sign up you straggler. Last one in gets relegated to BBDL.
  20. As far as I can tell, there's only one unowned prospect worth taking in the first round of the Waiver Draft. I don't want to name names, although I'm sure he won't fall to me.
